Remember one thing. The viewers tuned in everyweek and made this show number one. And the viewers can take it down if these two talented actors aren't brought back!
So what if they asked for more money the deserve they are two of the top actors around espeically NIck can't wait now to see him in Evel Knievel.He should be awesome I'll miss him on CSI if they really don't bring them back and CBS will have a big boycott i think.
Jorja Fox & George Eads are assets to CSI. They are part of the empirical formula of the show. It would be very disappointing to see them let go over a salary dispute. CSI is the #1 show because of the actors that create the characters, not just writing, directing, and producing. Give them a raise and stay #1!
I'm from Malaysia and we just finished the fourth season here. Was looking forward to season five, but will give it a miss if Jorja and George are not in it. For the sake of all CSI fans -- and your bottomlines -- bring back Jorja and George!
I just finished watching the two season of C.S.I i don't think I would continue watching the 5th season without the present of the two character that played by the two great actors, Jorja and George.
These two young stars found a career in this show. They often made the show interesting with competition and humor. Also, the storyline was just starting to expand into more serious roles. Please bring these 2 back as it will most likely sink the show by bringing in subpar replacements
and as an additional comment - replacements of the people are no good...definitely no good. the originals are the best and that's what made the show the best.
Les Moonves, you have made a big mistake. CSI is as much about the cast as it is about the forensics. It just won't be the same without Jorja and George.
There's no way you can expect CSI to remain number one without at least Jorja Fox, but George Eads as well. Proving a point or saving money in this particular instance will in no way pay off in the end.
The networks have to stop taking us for granted! A winning formula has to be evolving and bettered not destroyed! This show IS NOT Law and Order, the relationships between the characters is an intrecate part of it's success! It makes me think of the Bo and Luke (Dukes of Hazzard)incident where the producers got rid of the original cast over a salary dispute...Ratings died and they had to bring the original cast back but it was too late and the show died. CBS has grown over-confident!!! Watch out, you guys!
it wont be the same without nick and sara. i will probably not watch as faithfully if at all. the sexual tension between sara and grissom was one of my favorite ongoing stories as well as sara's personal problems. as far as nick goes, he is my favorite male csi next to grissom. no, the show will not be the same minus 2 of the main characters. i am terribly disappointed.

CBS, please tell the powers that be to reconsider and have mercy on Jorja and George. It should not be a crime to want to be paid fairly and comparably. I speak from experience because I am a teacher from a state that ranks VERY low in teacher pay compared to other states. If nothing, Jorja should at least be happy in real life since the writers have seen fit to put her character (Sara) through the ringer the last year and a half. Sorry, I have a special spot for her: although Sara is a fictitious character, she and I are a lot alike. And we share the same birthday. Please consider that the CSI cast is a team that got the ratings where they are. Yeah, it's your idea, but they breath life into that idea. Remember the fans and who gives you those ratings. The CSI's are the only reasons I even watch CBS. I can watch real dead body shows elsewhere. Thank you for your time. TA
CSI is the best thing going for CBS. CSI will not be the same without the Sara and Nick characters. I think I may just avoid the whole CBS network altogether
Well...I was looking forward to next season but CBS just killed it for me.If the sexual tension between grissom and sarah goes then so do I.I'll watch again IF CBS comes to their senses.
I don't know if I could stop watching CSI cold turkey, but with no Jorja & George, it won't be the same. I think TPTB at CBS are a bunch of idiots and are blowing this WAY out of proportion.
This situation is entirely unacceptable! I will have no choice but to boycott my favorite show if these two fine actors are not brought back. Their firing is not warrented and using them as industry scapegoats is inexcusable! CSI will not be CSI without Sara and Nick, they are an integral part of the show and must return, whatever the cost. Act like grown-ups and let the fans get back to enjoying the show THEY want- not the one your ego dictates!
CSI would never be the same with out Sara and Nick. Not to mention that Sara and Grissom totally love each other. Who is going to be there to worry about him now. You just don't fire two main characters of such a popular show. It will prove to be detremental in the long run.

If you dont bring back Jorja and George I swear I will have lost for the show CSI and CBS for that matter! Without these two amazing actors the show is over in many of the die hard fans including me! how can CBS do this it's absolutely rediculous. The cast is ruined and the shows chemistry has just been shot and thats what made it different from the horrible CSI:Miami.Nick and Sara were my two favorite characters on CSI and the whole reason i watched the show an now what are they gonna do about the Sara/Grissom love triangle? they can't just stop that it was soo great. Please CBS bring back these amazing people and keep your fans. i hate to say that i will never watch this show again it was soo amazing
In recent years, telelvision ahs become difficult to watch -- as so-called reality has taken over the airwaves. This reality has one advantage -- it was meant to help cover the costs of number one shows like CSI, who, in the long run, in spite of actors' salaries, make the network money in merchandising (AKA books, DVD's, syndication, advertising revenues, etc.,) and thus keep stations like CBS afloat. To not recognize that actors have a major part in this money making venture is rediculous. Not only is this offensive to us the viewer, but, in the end it makes poor business sense. Why would they choose to potentially damage a show that must carry TWO spinoffs, nevermind damaging the views of the second spinoff in the eyes of the now not so loyal audience. Maybe Sinese won't get paid. Or Caruso. It's starting here with Fox and Eads. Why would we watch something where we couldn't connect with the same characters that essentially keep us coming back week after week, year after year?
What an outrage!! Give them the money! They deserve it. CBS is shooting themselves in the foot here....people have been on the edge of their seats with the tension between Sarah and Grissom....and getting rid of the guy who pulls in a major target audience which includes but is not limited to the female 18-35 age group....what idiots.
Best to stay with those who have made the show such a success with its die-hard fans. Can't see why the powers that be would not stick with an excellent cast. As they say "If it ain't broke - don't fix it!" Bring back George and Jorja!
Jorja Fox and George Eads are excellent actors and major part of CSI. CBS may think that Marg Helgenberger and William Petersen are more valuable or whatever but the fact is all of them are valuable. And CSI isn't CSI without THE GREAT CAST. PLEASE CBS RECONSIDER. the viewers are what got CSI to be #1 and now when it comes to this and we want GE and JF back..we should get a say! SO PLEASE...think about it ASAP
Look CBS we all know that there is an extremely large grissom/ sara fanbase but there is also a nick / sara fanbase. We all love them and to get rid of them is to commit rating suicide. Many people have threatened to stop watching and i am sure almost every single person who has mentioned this threat will follow through. DOnt be surprised if this shows rating drops drastically if u dont bring them back.
Without the origianl cast I refuse to watch the fifth season...so if you dont want the ratings to go down bring them back As soon as possible for the fans. Please!
This decision by CBS disgusts me. People are not disposible and even if the show continues it's success it will not be the same without Sara and Nick. Their characters are as integral as the rest of the cast... and I was especially interested in the Gil/Sara storyline. I know that CBS and CSI are using Jorja and George as examples but I guess that just gives us a good reason not to become attached to the characters or the show. Who will they kick off next? And, from which beloved show? Miami, Without a Trace? This just pisses me off!
Please re-hire these fine actors.They are an essential part of the show. If CBS can be so cold-hearted and tough with two young actors, maybe I should take my Nielsen points elsewhere. Please reconsider your actions.
Jorja and George have had key roles in making CSI the success that it is. Taking them away would ruin the great team that had formed on the show over the course of the series. The show wouldn't be as great as it is, if it weren't for ALL the cast members!!!
The reason why we fell in love with the original CSI is because of the cast and without the original cast you dont have your fans and without your fans you dont exist! So bring them back now!

have such chemisty and if you get rid of her

i think nick is a hottie and needs to stay on the show. he is a good actor and one the the hottest guys on the show. so they asked for a little more money. give it to them or lose ALL the viewers!!! which is the worst thing? DUH!!!
i think csi is the best thing on tv now, you have so many peolpe watching it and if you take away sara (a massive hottie) you will lose so many viewers.
I believe every show has the touch to captivate viewers, but in order to do that, they need the heart of the actors in which they play the role they are given.The whole cast is what makes a show package, but taking ANY characters away just ruins the whole thing, that is exactly what happened here, why? To break the hearts of those who fully appreciated the show along with Jorja and George? CSI must live on with ALL cast members!!
the show won't be the same, and i'm not going to sit around and watch new actors trying to fit into a team that's already established familiar chemistry with one another for 4 seasons
you cant take away nick or sara. they are the best thing that has happened to CSI. nick has been through so much in the show and sara and grissom's relationship has to do something. KEEP THEM ON!!!!!!
