I live in the UK and have been a fan of CSI ever since the pilot; one of my reasons for watching is the great onscreen chemistry between WP and JF. I totally support Jorja and George, and feel that CBS are 'shooting themselves in the foot' so to speak by this act of supreme stupidity. I truly believe that without the great cast of Seasons 1-4 there can be no CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. If JF and GE are not rehired I will certainly not be watching, nor will I be watching any of the CSI spin-offs.
I cant beleive this!!! how can CBS be so callous and has for Les Moonves, you shouldn't even be allowed to run a brothel let alone a a billion dollor corp like CBS, you plonker (in Britain that means idiot, in case you were wondering). I can honestly say that if these actors are not reinstated, and I speak for the UK posse, I wont be watching again. I wouldnt mind but CSI Miami is poo compared and if that glimpse into CSI NY is anything to go by, that'll be **** n' all.
CBS n Les Moonves, get your acts together and do the RIGHT THING, bring back our beloved George and Jorja and stop all this nonsence. Give the fans what they are asking for and do yourselves a very big favour, because I can honestly say, you will lose millions because, no one will be tuning in. Channel 5 will ditch all 3 CSI's because we'll be watching 'Waking the Dead' instead on BBC1 because there will be no reason to switch over to a US drama when we have a fantastic UK one.
Please negotiate with the actors and resolve this issue before the show suffers.
I also would like to see the nice young CSIer who debuted in the pilot come back. I don't remeber her name, but she was the one killed at the store in the shows pilot. I will go watch the pilot on my DVD collection and post her name again.
I'm 13 and love Jorja Fox. She's made me want to be like Sara when I get older and I can't believe she won't be on CSI anymore. My mum is just as upset as I am and we both want George and Jorja back.
I wont be continuting to watch CSI now, I was looking forward to series 5 but cant help thinking that the show will be somewhat lacking now that two of its best characters will not longer be appearing. I am disgusted with CBS for axing these two stars my favorite was George Eads and I am wondering how I am to have my weekly fill on TV without him, :-( Chelle D, Forensic Science Student, UK.
... Personally, I think that if they had waited for their contracts to expire, the show would have been cancelled long before that. Like it or not, CSI has been going downhill since season one. Disposing of two characters so suddenly and randomly would spell the end of CSI sooner than expected.
The show is not only about solving the murders, it is also about the characters. All of the characters are extremely important to the show and I think the decision to get rid of 2 of the main characters will prove to be wrong. I really hope to see George & Jorja back next season!
why are you torturing the fans? don't you realize no matter who you replace jorja and george to play nick and sara, you would have already lost the magority of fans or even the entire fans?
That's a shame. I watched CSI mostly for its actors and I know that I am not the only one. I think that it is legitimate that actors get a piece of the cake when the cake gets bigger. Sad. The original CSI will go down...Maybe they don't care now that they have two other shows going on. They should have asked the fans what they thought about it before they took this stupid decision.
They HAVE to come back!!! The show will never be the same for me and I will simply quit watching. CBS will pay dearly because this is the show that is keeping them alive each week. They need the viewers to be happy and we obviously aren't!!!
It makes absolutely no sense for the producers to fire both of these actors. Not only can they afford to pay them because they have launched yet another spin-off (which looks rather bad), but the writers will have to come up with some convoluded explanation on how Nick and Sara *both* left CSI at the same time... idiots. This is a joke. I for one will NOT be tuning into CSI if Jorja and George are not in it anymore. They are just as important to the show as William Petersen is. And don't try to tell us that CBS can't afford to pay them more. If it weren't for the actor's/actress's the show would not be where it is at today. I just shake my head at how ignorant CBS really is. If I were William Petersen I would walk ... unless Jorja and George are re-hired.
CBS will lose more money because people will stop watching the show out of disgust of CBS then it would have cost them to pay the actors more.

I have a little idea: Why not join us looking a good lawyer and elaborate a legal action against CBS t.v network for to attempt against the 7316 (number of signatures)viewers rights.
OK in America exist the expression liberty, the CBS tv network is free to take a internal staff firing decisions, but when this decisions have a public implications, CBS dont have any right to ignore, avoid and refuse the demandsof the viewers target group that would be affected for this decision.
Just wonder this if the CBS take care about what is your vote or opinion in the election survivor million winner, Why not about your wish to rehire two excellents actors in the best t.v. show CSI??????

A t.v show is not different to any commercial product on the market, if you are a regular consumer, you have right to demand and being pleased.
