I think if you take away half of the key actors, the show will decline. George is a great actor, he plays so well off of the others. I just don't understand how you can fire someone that is so fital to your success because of a late paper and being late once. I hope things are cleared up soon. I will be so upset if it is not the same people next season.
CBS's Les Moonves needs to keep
these characters.
Their individual
story arcs (such as
Sara's alcohol problems and Sara and Nick's conflict about being top-dog CSI's) give depth and subtle comple- xity to the show which makes it so fun to watch.If
they are fired, then the show will be nothing more than a dry scien-
tific docudrama.
If you get rid of them the show will definitely not be the same. There is no way you could replace these characters and expect to have the ratings that this show gets. Someone at CBS has an attitude problem and it's not the actors, so straighten your act up and bring them back ASAP.
If you don't hire George Eads back (he's the only reason I watch in the first place) I will stop watching and the only DVD's I'll buy in the future will be the last season he appears in!!

If you let these two go, you'll be missing two fine talented actors...The show wouldn't be the same without them--lowered ratings, mean lower ad dollars $, which mean less money for CBS!
You can't fire two of the best actors on the show, without hurting the ratings. I know I wouldn't watch it without those two on it. this whole thing seems like a sad commentary on the communication and leadership skills of Leslie Moonve. Come back to your senses Moonve and don't ruin a good thing to prove a mute point.
Okay, so Jorja has been rehired, but what about George? He oversleeps, phones in and is told "don't bother coming in" - who on earth said that? The teagirl? The cleaner? Obviously someone who doesn't recognise an apology when they hear one. C'mon, CBS, we all make mistakes, but we'll forget about yours if you just accept George's apology and get his cute ass and well-toned body back on set! love and kisses, Sarah.
What makes this CSI better than the Miami one (and probably better than the upcoming NY one) is the cast. Both Fox and Eads contributed a lot to the show individually and as part of the entire team. Firing them, when they are obviously still willing to work, jeopardizes the show's success going forward. I would be sad to watch it without them!
Give them a chance!... Both are good looking & good acting- a hard combo to find in the younger Hollywood set. They bring too
much to the CSI canvas to be so cavalierly dismissed
I like the almost tacit sexual chemistry between Sara Sidle and Gil Grisham . .. Nick Stokes is just plain hot and smart . .their exit would be a BIG loss to the show.

Taking these two actors out of the mix will do more harm than good. This is the number one tv show, so as far as I'm concerned, the two of them deserve the raise they're asking for, as well as everyone else who didn't get a raise when William Peterson and Marg Helgenberger got one.
I have watched CSI since the very first episode, before it received all the hype it now has. Please do not follow suit of so many other TV series and sports teams...keep your crew together. Remember who took you to the dance!
Seriously CBS, the show WILL not be the same without the two of them. One thing you can't pay for is chemistry and synergy. With the two of them, you have that and the show will continue to do well in the ratings. Without the two of them, I guarantee the show will slip and you WILL lose viewership. Is your pride really worth it? Think about.
You've got to bring Eads character back! He's a great actor who's character should be explored more and not cut. Can't say I'll miss Fox's character as much!
CBS has made a fatal error in firing two of the more charismatic characters on the show. Unless they are both hired back in a timely fashion they can send a CSI team to my home to investigate the death of CBS and CSI viewing with my family's television.
I am not sure if I would watch the show without George Eads or not. I have to tape it now as it is since I work, but now wonder if it will be worth it.
Perhaps the reason why CBS did not do well in ratings after "Dallas" went of the air is because they don't want to pay the right people.How can CBS pay Jorja and George so little for being on a show that's consistently #1 in it's time slot?I'm shocked these actors are only paid $100,000.I am an aspiring actor myself,but I would not want to have the role for myself or for anyone else to have it if that meant "messing with" the integrity of the show.Hopefully,all parties will come to a satisfactory agreement that will preserve the intergrity of the show and keep fans happy.
Don't break up the original team at this time! Give George Eads another chance, he's apologized for the "misunderstanding". He's a great part of the show and would be greatly missed by this avid fan!

I can't believe that CBS would make such an erratic move as to fire two of their main characters on their #1 rated show! Are they insane? CSI is one of the few shows that displays any sort of intelligence and knowledge of science in their story lines. It's too bad that such a wonderful show is with such an undeserving network.
Remember we are little but we out number you and there is always another station or story to watch and there is always the off button.
What you did was wrong. And if you don't see it the little guys and gals that have bosses that treat them the same way you are treating George and Jorja is going to be mad...at you believe me!
