You are absolutely ridiculous if you think anyone else can do as well as they have on this show. It's an amazing program and I hate the thought of watching it without every member of the original cast. Bring them back. Worry about what the fans want..and less about the dollar amounts being paid out.
I see that Jorja has been rehired, great, however, let not forget about George who is an original cast member and one of my favorite actors on television today! The show just wouldn't be the same without him, and frankly I would have to ban the show. All of my family and friends have been avid supporters of CSI-Vegas from Los Angeles to New Jersey for years. Everyone screws up here and there and deserves a second chance. Please don't disappoint us!
CSI is an ensemble cast, and each cast member/character is critical and without one, it’s not as strong. Look at West Wing -- it was once one of my favorite shows, but since they tossed Rob Lowe, the show has gone to Hell in a hand basket. Maybe it was a “misunderstanding” or maybe I was a bid for more money, either way, the apology has been give, crow has been eaten, let’s get on with the show. The producers shouldn’t cut off their nose to spite their face.

CBS is taking too much of a risk to fire these 2 talented actors over pay (which I'm sure the company can more than afford), and hire 'new blood' in the hope that the same chemistry will be present. That's how many hit shows began their downfall!
"CSI" (the original only) is the only TV show that my wife and I regularly watch, and the contributions that Jorja Fox and George Eads make to the show are a big part of that. We find their characters and performances to be the most consistently compelling on the show. I realize that disputes are disputes and contracts are contracts, but I would hope that the network and the actors would consider their audience in this matter. Please bring them back!
It's bogus that they got fired for salary negotiations. These happen all the time, so maybe CBS had it out for them in the first place. Hey, I quit watching CSI now.
If Jorja Fox and George Eads are fired from the show, CBS are going to need to pull in their own crime scene investigators to see why CBS completely lost their minds.
I am a huge fan of CSI. I also enjoy the spin-off and am looking forward to the new one, but they are not as good as the original. All of the cast, including Jorga and George, are what makes the original the better show. I am very disappointed that they have been fired. I hope to see both of them reinstated. I don't know if I will choose to tune in this season if replacements are brought in and why should I bother getting attached to the cast on the new show when CBS might get rid of them too. Maybe I should start watching NBC again.

CBS/CSI has done it again, removed talented actor(s) instead of working through the issue (remember Delany firing in favor of Caruso on CSI Maimi). I hope a door can be opened for a disscussion at the very least.
It is a great show, with a great cast. If the actors are willing to stay with the original money, then they should stay. Obviously they realized that the money was not as important as continuing a great thing, so should the CBS executives.
This is ridiculous. George Eads helped make CSI successful enough to create not just one but TWO spin-offs, neither with the same panache as the original. Evidently, CBS would rather play at being Ronald Reagan than learn economics where we learn stars' talents are "rented" for the (traditionally) shorter career longevity than someone working the line in a factory. Therefore, even if this were not a mistake over "oversleeping" it's only logical that there be negotiations. Shame on CBS for cutting off their noses to spite their faces. No more CSI for me -- or another DVD set or buying from the CBS store or buying from the sponsors. Did you REALLY think about what you were doing, CBS, or were you so testosterone-driven that you HAD to prove you're the "Boss" forgetting the fans???? SHAME!
I watched CSI from the beginning, except for not seeing it a lot last season. It won't be the same without those two, and wish they would come back so I can watch it next season
They make the show for me. I love both their characters and it will be hard to watch without them. I've heard Jorja is coming back but PLEASE bring George back too.
This must be a huge misunderstanding here. Mr. Moonves, even the lowest paid employee has a right to their side of the story. Please recomsider your decision. If you are as good an executive as I've heard, you must know bringing these actors back to CSI will be best for this excellent show.
I hope George and Jorja (Nick and Sara) will return, especially Jorja! The end of Season 4 had a brilliant cliffhanger for Sara and I want the story to continue. Not to Mention how she is so Hot too!!
If you keep out Jorja and George out of csi you ruin the show and make it not as good to watch I hope you will make the wise choice and bring the make and make the show wonderful as always.
When something works, why mess with it?? These two actors are an integral part of the show, and it would not be nearly as interesting to watch without them.
What in the world do you people think your doing? These two actors MAKE the show what it is, just as much as the others. Without them your ratings will surely drop for sure. I love CSI because the actors MAKE the show, NOT YOU the person who fired them. If you do not bring them back you do not care about the company CBS or the show CSI itself. All you care about is the money.BRING THEM BACK OR ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It will not be the same, they really need to realize that everyone makes little mistakes. They will soon see that this was a huge mistake if they do not correct it!!!!!!
