Tubby Smith takes Kentucky to the tournament every year, plays respectable ball, and generates excitement consistently.

While the team does not win every game, they are NEVER overmatched and fans can have an expectation of winning against anyone.

The coach should be respected and supported. Instead of dumping him, fans should show their support for the man who goes to the tournament every year with a shot.

I've lived in New Mexico for 15yrs. but I still bleed Blue. I don't get to see as many UK games as I once did, but when I last saw the Wildcats play, I couldn't believe how far the Cats have sunk. It is obvious that their talent level is not what it once was and I attribute that to poor recruiting. Good coaches take players and make them better. I am sure Tubby is one of those good coaches. However, it all begins with recruiting and something is definitely wrong in that department at Kentucky. The buck stops with the coach. Sorry Tubby, but if you can't recruit at Kentucky, you just may be history. Best wishes...
