Tabs aren't stealing music, you can't put them on your ipod and sell
them. Tabs don't help you change others songs to rake in cash. Keep the
Tabs Free! |

Cliff Allen :
Tablature promotes progessive education of tomorrow's musicians.
Without tabs future music will be performed by lackluster artists whom
people will not want to hear. Recording of copyrighted songs is already
illegal. Tabs are simply used to help learn favorite songs and improve
ones musical ability. The MPA is once again trying to bully it's
biggest customers, the music lovers who buy albums. Can we get Lauren
Kaiser's e-mail address? |

I'm a guitar major in college. I see nothing wrong with sharing tabs.
If a person is to sit down and figure out a song by ear, and then show
someone else how to play it, that is illegal? |

tab should be free the fact that you didn't pay for it is why its not
legal? my mom taught me to wipe my butt should that knowledge be illegal
as well? if we find instructions should we make people pay for it? |

I have no problem with you guys cracking down on limewire, or pirate sites.
I'll support that, no problem.Tabs is a different story. I can't
afford lessons, and tab books aren't exactly released with my favorite
songs. If you guys would grow balls and put money out for me to be able to
get all the fcking tabs I like, I'd might buy them, but seeing as how
that won't happen, fck the ban. Keep the tabs free. |

Sad sad sad. The band I look for guitar tabs from only has one guitar tab
book out and I have that one. They have loads of other songs which have to
be interpreted. MPA is going too far now. |
