I have loved them since I was a kid and my mother would send a bag or two all the way from california because you couldnt get them in delaware. They are the best!!!!
I have Taco Doritos available locally(Indpls.). They just say "Taco", but I assure you, they're not worth buying. However; the "true Original"(70's to about '90) flavor were incredibly delicious and in a clss all their own.
I've lived from the east coast to Hawaii, and I have not seen taco flavor doritos since the EIGHTIES!! (okay, ONCE, in St. Loius in 91)I LOVE em! I NEED em! I wanna EAT em!! I'll do the commercial for FREE! Bring em BACK!
Funny that I find this web site, just sent an email to Frito Lay last week after a family discussion that we missed and loved the Taco flavor Doritos too. Bring them back to RI pretty please!!!!
I support the petition 100%. I grow up on Taco Doritos in AZ. I been searching for Taco Doritos for over 20 years. The are not sold in the West Coast anymore. The original Taco Doritos were the best.

Taco Doritos... aka Taco Bell Doritos.... were the best chip ever invented. Shame on doritos for getting us hooked and cutting us off. I haven't had these in about ten years and I still know that they are the best.
I have been searching for Taco Doritos many years now. I reside in Pa and can't find them anywhere. The last time I saw the chip was when I was in the military and went to Panama (central america) in 1989. They where in cans and since I was carrying all my gear, I only bought one can. It gave me hope though, to no avail! BRING BACK THE TACO CHIP!!!

I searched the frito-lay website and found a single store in NY state which does carry the elusive Taco Doritos....Haddens in Ceres NY....about 2 hours south of Buffalo..on the Pennsylvania/NY border....they are widely available in PA for some reason. I support this petition. When I was a kid there were three flavors of Doritos: Original, Nacho Cheese, and Taco. Taco ruled. Here in Washington State it's been quite a while since the REAL (read: not "Taco Bell") Taco Flavored Doritos disappeared, and despite trying all 237 other flavors currently available, none is as good as the original Taco Flavor. Please bring it back.

I grew up on Taco Doritos, and since they disappeared from the market here in the late eighties, I've never found anything even close as a substitute. None of the current flavors make the cut for me -- bring back the Original!!!
