Ted definitely adds to Top Chef. I can't think of a better person to add to the show. I would love to see Ted as either a mentor or as a regular judge and do away with the guest judges or keep them and add Ted as a weekly judge. Don't matter, just add him to the show
Oh my goodness --- finally people who are saying what I've thought ever since Ted hosted on Season 1. He would be a natural! Either him, or just have a down-to-earth fat person who just likes food that tastes good!
Ted would be a great mentor and would know just how much to say and how much to avoid saying. I also think his down-to-earth attitude could steer some contestants away from wretched excess if he drops the right hints.
