eBay has policies that allow "Adult Material" but won't allow Teacher editions. There must be a way to certify buyers age to allow teacher editions too.
I think this outrageous. I do not support cheating at all, but us homeschoolers use ebay to help pay for other educational materials for our kids. This is totally unfair to homeschoolers.
I am a homeschool mom and I buy these items at a reduced rate so I can coninue to homeschool. I willbe very upset with ebay if this is taken away as this is my primary resource.
eBay you should change your policy because you are hurting homeschool families who need to sell all of their materials to purchase the new school year materials and you are hurting homeschool families who have to purchase used materials in order to afford homeschooling their children. Most of these materials are specific to homeschooling and it would be very rare for a student in a homeschool family to purchase a teacher edition in order to cheat.
I am a homeschooler who has purchased teacher's editions on ebay several times in the past. Preventing the sale of teacher's editions because students MIGHT buy them for themselves is ridiculous! PLEASE change this policy and let homeschoolers sell their materials to other homeschoolers in peace!
Seriously, how many kids do you think are actually buying these things to cheat?? There are much easier ways if they really wanted to! Banning this is not fair to the rest of the community who are intirested in these products.
Ebay is not consistant with this new policy and it makes no sense. If we can buy these everywhere else - why not be able to sell them on Ebay? Ebay has given no real or truthful reason thusfar to this new policy.
Textbook companies do not enforce this policy. Why should eBay? If they forbid sale of anything which could potentially hurt the user, they would go under. Practically anything can be a blunt instrument. . .
As a homeschooling mother and someone who frequently buys and sells on ebay, I find this policy by ebay needless and very unfair. Ebay has been a great source of homeschooling materials and I am deeply disheartened by the course they have chosen.
