In light of the fact that Ms. Nunez-Tesheira is the Finance Minister of Trinidad and Tobago presiding over the government bailout/intervention into the finances of CL Financial, we are calling on her to resign based on the following documented facts.

Ms. Nunez-Tesheira did not address the facts that :

1. She received dividends from CL Financial after they were bailed out by the government

2. SHE DID NOT AT ANY TIME DISCLOSE to the public or parliament her stake of 10,410 CL Financial shares (thankfully this was revealed due to the work of Mr. Wilson at the Trinidad Guardian)

3. HER FAMILY SUSPICIOUSLY WITHDREW OVER $2 MILLION from the Clico Investment Bank just before Clico folded.


Do you think Timothy Geithner could have even ONE share in AIG, yet still be presiding over its bailout?? We deserve the standards of any other developed country in the world. Its time more people know about the everyday unacceptable, nonsensical political scandals of Trinidad and Tobago, especially as the government tries to veil all political and socio-economic ills of this country in their hosting of the Summit of the Americas.

The matter is not about a witch hunt, trying to put Ms. Nunez-Tesheira in jail, we are calling on her to do the honourable thing and resign. So please sign this petition and refer it to all friends and family. Hopefully some degree of shame will overcome the unacceptable behaviour and actions of the Trinidad and Tobago government.
