I don't know why, Filipinos are so naive that they are being played with. I would not even support TFC channel, for what they did to our Kababayans here in the States. I just wish that all that got swindled by the Lopez's just unsubscribed from Direct-TV, because it is so ridiculous that you have to pay for Local channels, then just to get GMA Pinoy TV I have to subscribe $35 for TFC, Hindi na ba sila nahiya, alam kasi nila na hindi lang sa ratings sila talo kundi magta-transfer lahat ng Pinoy sa GMA if they did not bribe DirectTV to include them in the package or they don't get GMA. I asked DTV's customer service about this b4, I said, do I have to get Showtime channel to get HBO, they answer me
sent new box after a year. box when out. thy replace box and then add 2 more yrs. to contract. which did not know untill i cancell them.16 times i called in with problems. dump them after 4 yrs. now thy say i wow 175.00 dollars for breaking contract? contract was up in 2003. going to texas att. gen. office with this on my credit report.
We purchased the equipment back then which was like $400.00 and now we have to migrate to Direct TV and pay for local channels for $9.99 which is only helping Direct TV not TFC Direct. I say we should make a petition for comcast to atleast carry Cinema 1. because everyone I know is going to comcast even with just one channel.

TFC sucks! I'm so sick of the stupid Filipinos that are actually on TV on this embarrasing channel. It's not even about the stupid bits they do, or the dances. Its because, they have ripped off every idea that ever was! They are totally and utterly UNoriginal. It's like they should be called "MTV3-TFC." Because damn, they sing all American songs - quite poorly I might add. They rip-off American TV shows, for example, at one point they had a 'Punk'D' style show, a'la MTV. Do the people on this channel have one ounce of originality in their bodies?
Seriously. And what's the deal with Kris Aquino?! all she ever talks about is how she bought shoes at Robinsons May, or Ann Taylor, or how she watched a live taping of 'Deal or No Deal.' Who gives a damn?! Am I supposed to be impressed? Guess what moron, every damn mall in San Diego and the US has stores like Robinsons May, Ann Taylor, so forth. You must be trying very hard to show off to all the poorer Filipinos in your audience, who are so damned amazed over your new $40 shoes. Im not impressed. Im disgusted. I support this petition, we can even have a class action suit against TCF for what they did. The advertised back then to get Pinoy in the US to sign up and we were charge $379.00 for equipment that now is no good. This is really unfair businees practice.
this is not something that lopez's woke up one morning and said ok let's merge or partner, whatever, to directv. this is somehting they were planning on doing for a long time. recruit as many as they can then sell us to directv. they had this christmas promo for $238, the equipment is FREE but you have to pay for the installation of $99 and $39 for the shipping. sure good enough reason for abs-cbn to say hey we didn't charge you for the equipment, the money you paid is for the installation and shipping cost. ang binalingan ng sama ng loob ng ilang mga customers ay iyong mga kaawa-awang mga installers ng tfc. kaya ang lopez's ngayon NAKAKARMA na, i hope mag penalty sila ng malaking pera para sa mga victims ng stampede.

I support this petition coz from the time TFC was introduced overseas, alot of illegal activities occurred specially in selling tfc products to innocent customers. Imagine, alot of tfc subscribers specially in Canada existed without the knowledge of proper and legal channel like ABS CBN themselves and the new provider - Direct TV. Come to think of it! We all let this thing happen??? Pinoys abroad wake up!? Dont just patronize coz of being Pinoy! You are all paying for nothing. Once this was uncovered , LAGOT kayo! I support this petition. The stress of explaining matters to the already complicated and confused customers is just too much to bare. why not give our loyal customers get what they want? plain and simple!

I think they made the switch because of the big mistake their former dealer did. They sold thousands of TFC equipment in CANADA without authorization. They are so scared that if the canadian government found this out, they can be sued for millions of dollars. I was told that their former dealers did the same thing without the knowledge of DirecTV. BIG PROBLEM!!!!
