The FA have been making a hash of selecting the England managers for years. Why do we persist in letting a bunch of rich big-wigs who have never managed a team, never played for a team, and have no understanding of what it takes to manage a team select the England manager?

It's time to do something about it.

Recently Harry Redknapp hit the nail on the head: why not involve current great managers in the selection process? Why not get the advice of the Redknapps, Wengers and Fergusons who know exactly what it takes to be a great manager? Let them decide who the best candidate is.

It's time for the fans to demand change.

Let's stop the FA from selecting future England managers. It's a job they're blatantly not qualified to do.
Let's force them to hand the selection process to a committee of existing managers, or at least invite some current managers into their International Committee.
