Bernard Fanning (the "beloved" lead singer of fantastic Australian band Powderfinger) seems to be getting a bit rusty. Recently, Mr BF posted on the PFDB and was talking in a manner that could allow us all to disown him quite justly.

That's why, in my best interest for the band, I have decided that PF need to recruit a new frontman - a giant cactus. This one can play the flute (and talk at the same time too), wears a chef hat and enjoys hobbies like yoga and sunbaking.
In a recent interview with the nominated cactus, he states he wants to give the band a bit more of an edge. "I'm thinking having an....oasis.....you know, in the middle of the stage? I also recently wrote a song about a fly being tantalized by a Venus Fly Trap - should be a hit at weddings". Nice work Mr Cactus!

And to all you folks that disagree with this arrangement, don't worry, you will find Bernard selling fruit at your local Rocklea Market - as he wishes.
