The Dictators Induction into the White Castle Hall...

Resolution

Slyder salutations:

It is a rare and remarkable moment when art transcends that of a simple song, performance or design into an experience that leads the patron to fully comprehend and embrace a new and enlightened perspective that brings one to a higher spiritual plane. And when one of those magical moments turns into a legacy of over thirty years with White Castle as a guiding force, the makings of an epic tale are in place.

As a result, we, the undersigned, respectfully nominate for the White Castle Cravers Hall of Fame New York’s own, The Dictators, and hereby declare:

WHEREAS: The Dictators are the world’s greatest rock n roll band, and have carried forth their young, fast and scientific work for over three decades while always holding the Slyder as an inspiration, and

WHEREAS: No act in the history of entertainment has paid more homage to White Castle than The Dictators, and

WHEREAS: The Dictators have never failed to make White Castle one of the four food groups while incorporating references to Slyders in their lifestyles, lyrics and depictions of album cover art, and

WHEREAS: The Dictators devoted an entire 12 inch by 12 inch photograph of themselves, crew and patrons at a Bronx White Castle in 1974 to their first album (see attached), and

WHEREAS: It is common that Slyders are tossed about with glee at many performances of The Dictators (a feat that is now more easily accomplished with the convenience of the fine White Castle frozen line), including shows in October, 2006 when the band closed the world famous CBGB in New York City, and

WHEREAS: Through their great work, The Dictators have pointed countless thousands in the pursuit of White Castle, and

WHEREAS: The Dictators not so secret, secret weapon, one Handsome Dick Manitoba (a/k/a The Handsomest Man in Rock n Roll) in addition to his Dictators duties and those as proprietor of one of Manhattan’s finest establishments: Manitoba’s, also appears each weeknight from 8:00 until midnight (EDT) on Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 25---Little Steven’s Underground Garage, thereby making induction and White Castle an almost certain buzz of the airwaves, we are

RESOLVED: The Dictators are as deserving inductees into the White Castle Cravers Hall of Fame as is Babe Ruth into Cooperstown, and to that end we proudly nominate The Dictators (Andy Shernoff, Handsome Dick Manitoba, Ross the Boss, JP “Thunderbolt� Patterson and Scott “Top Ten� Kempner) as deserving of the high honor and distinct privilege that induction brings.

We, the “undersigned� solemnly affirm that we are in full and complete agreement with the above resolution nominating The Dictators for the White Castle Cravers Hall of Fame, have no personal past present or future aspirations of financial interests for ourselves or the nominee(s) in this endeavor, and welcome confirmation of same through the below listed contact(s)
