The Faces? Without doubt one of the most influential, unique and talented bands that Britain has ever produced! Individually they were/are superb musicians, when mixed together the ingredients formed a perfect cake of a band that is being copied even today. When I watched them as a teenager on TV the ease at which they just got up on stage, as a bunch of mates and played was an absolute joy to see and was the one major thing that made me follow in their footsteps and become a musician, I wanted to be like them! It is a crime that this band have been so overlooked for so long, their influence on young musicians and on the music world as a whole must now be recognised and rewarded by the industry who f**ked them over, the people who listened to and enjoyed their music and by the musicians who emulated them and used them as a target of greatness to aim for, myself included.
I couldn't agree more. Aside from the sheer joy their music has given me since a kid, their import as a band who influenced a generation of musicians and bands is well documented.

Long overdue, i'd say. had the pleasure of meeting Mr. McLagan recently- what an honor. his natural and seemingly effortless musicality is out-shone only by his kind and gentle nature. good luck, boys!
It is absurd that we have to sign a petition to get The Faces in the HOF. They should have been in the first few years and will always remain one of the greatest bands of all time.
