One of the best unknown bands of the 70s. It was an amazing time of grownup
for me and some other guys with the music of the FACES. First experiences
with Maggie and other girls, ikf you know what i mean, based on the sound
of this inspiring guys. Now,blessed with three nearly adult children, still
enjoying the music of this little great group.I love`m |

This induction is absolutely well deserved. Where else can you get a member
of the Stones, the Who, the Jeff Beck Group and Pete Townshend's
drinking buddy on one band? |

When crapola like Billy Joel and the rest of that non-rock **** is even
mentioned, and the FACES are not in the Hall; something is wrong, something
is very wrong! I saw the band twice, and like it has been said, for a while
they were the greatest rock n' roll band on earth. Isn't it time
for the human race to grow up and vote these gents into the history they
deserve? |

Ronnie Lane was (and still is) a shining star! The Small Faces and The
Faces were great bands and deserve a prominent place in music history as
icons of of what was best about the music of the 1960's and
1970's. |

The Faces (Small or otherwise) shall forever be one of the most influential
bands in the history of the rock and roll medium. Having inspired many of
the greatest rock and roll bands which followed them ( including such
giants as Black Crowes, Oasis and the Replacements) and even contemporaries
such as Led Zeppelin, they have earned a permanent place of honor along
with their contemporaries in the rock and roll hall of fame. With such
landmark albums as Ogden's Nut Gone Flake (as The Small Faces) to A
Nod Is As Good As A wink...they defined every decade in which they produced
music and pushed the boundaries of the recording arts. Their absence in
the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame remains a blight on the very institution
itself. Please amend this for fans of Rock and Roll everywhere. |
