The New Facebook Must Be Stopped!
Published September 6, 2006
This morning and over the course of the day, myself and thousands of others routinely checked our FaceBook account to see if we had received any messages.
People that I have spoken with are perturbed by the overwhelming collection of personal information that is displayed about friends, acquaintances, and other FaceBook buddies.
We all know who has dumped who, who is doing what, and who doesn't like something anymore. This is invasive, and while it is displayed for others to see, it is not meant to bombard their homepage. The Facebook has become a perfect tool for stalkers to gain access to their prey, easily.
Despite the fact that this does not "violate the privacy policies already in place," we feel that it is invasive and directs us to information that we are not normally interested in.

I and the undersigned ask that:
FaceBook reverts to the state that it was in on the morning of September 4, 2006.
Facebook not sell out to Google (despite a potential $2.1 Billion sale).
