Dear fellow Americans,

We are begining this petition because we love what is good and right about our wonderful country. We believe that in order to maintain our Freedom, we must repeal the 22nd amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

The 22nd Amendment was passed on February 27, 1951. It took 10 years to pass this amendment after it was introdced in 1941. That is because it is simply a bad idea.

The 22nd Amendment limits a President to serving only two terms in the U.S. Prior to this ammendment there were no such rules! And why should there be? If a president is doing an exceptionally good job, why should we punish the country by forcing him out?

Among this list of great American presidents who served our country for more than 2 terms are: George Washington, James Madison, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. With your help we can add the greatest modern day president to the list, George W. Bush!

If you love freedom, love justice, love all that is right and good in the world, and most importantly love the United States of America, you will sign this petition.

Um... Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the only man to serve more than two terms. George Washington was the person who started the tradition of only serving for two terms, and James Madison for only two terms. And I'm pretty sure that our "greatest modern day president" won't serve any more terms. Sorry about that. How about you do some research before starting anymore petitions.

Americans are entitled to their RIGHTS to VOTE for who ever they want to be their Leader. We as Americans want the best and most proven Candidate to lead our great nation not someone who was nominated because of the 22nd Amendment.
