It's a no-brainer, really. Marvel will *gladly* license Thor to anyone willing to make the movie for a song. TOYBIZ, Marvel's mother company makes toys, Thor has a lot of characters for toys. If no studio finances Thor, then why not Toybiz?
I hope they make it into an Avengers movie! Now THAT would rock! But center-stage should be the strongest MArvel Character! No you boob, not the Hulk! THE MIGHTY THOR!

This would make a great movie. I've been waiting for a Thor movie for a long time. He's such a strong and powerful character and being able to capture the power of Thor in a movie would be something amazing to see.
A Thor film would be very welcome, especially considering that Thor stands out as quite unique when compared with the usual superhero. Come on Marvel, make this a reality!

Thor is a character of legend. His movie could be an epic of existential proportions: after all, Thor is a god who all people have no faith in. It seems plainly obvious that this is a good pick for a movie. Much better, I'd hazard, than Elektra.
A Thor movie would be great for comic fans all over the world. There's no question now that the Film Industry possesses the Technology Advancement to accomplish such a goal. I've long to see the splendor of Asgard and the Rainbow Bridge in the Movie theater, and see the most powerful superhero ever display his mighty powers defending the weak in both Earth and Asgard. I'll say: "Let's do it now!!!"
A Thor movie can go either way. But let's face it, if Marvel made a "blade" movie, why not one of its major character. Thor is the BOMB! Hopefully his movie doesn't "bomb" in the box-office. But he gets my vote. Anything, as long as it's not another Jim Carey movie.
Look. A Thor movie is cool and all that, but Marvel have yet to do a Captain America movie. Thor would kick any superhero's ass in the coolness factor though. So, yeah, here's hoping it gets made. But i'm just the 24th petition so far. Hooboy! What a long way to go. I wouldn't hold my breath
Although I really want to see a Thor movie, unfortunately, Marvel doesn't really care much for the character. What a shame. But, YES, i vote for a Thor movie.
A Thor movie has the potential to be more epic than LOTR. Think about it, it has trolls, goblins, orcs, but on a larger, grander scale. Thor will simply knock out any fantasy and comic book movie, IF DONE RIGHT.
I believe a Thor movie would do extremely well in today's movie industry. The success of movies like "Lord of the Rings" is a clear indicator that fantasy based movies can dow extremely well.
I would like to see someone do a Thor movie justice. Have Vladmir Kulich as Thor, Sean Connery or Ian Mckellan as Odin. Hugo Weaving as Loki, Olando Bloom as Balder, Lucy Lawless as Sif and Peter Jackson to direct it.
I for one would truly love to see a Thor movie, because it's high time marvel aknowledged Thor as it's #1 hero and also I bet it would generate more money than any movie that marvel has made of it's other comics. Also let the producer of LOTR make!
