The vision should not be discounted just because it is something most people don't understand. The GPR images are something people can understand. Please do the dig.
H E L L O O O O!!! The dig must happen. Even if it isn't the 3 women that are missing... apparently there is something/someone there. If not for the families of these 3 women, maybe for another family.. they can finally know what happened to their loved ones and lay them to rest. finally. How dare they deny them that.
Sounds to me like someone has something to hide here! And the are afraid because it sounds like their hiding place has been discovered! Give the families of these folks some closure!!!
This decision should be a simple one. It is imperative that this be done as soon as possible. If this was a member of your family you would insist upon it. Do NOT deny this family peace.
There is no doubt that if these women were nationaly recognised, this would be a question of when the dig would take place and not whether it takes place. Our wish for the families is that they find the truth as it will set them free.
Come missouri lets try to find them as everyone has said you dug things up on far less leads and or information spending money and this hasnt cost you a dime so far..

I have a missing daughter.i know the importancy of this dig..Maybe farfetched to some due to the man having the dream,however the gpr is not "lying" It is terrible you won't let these people try...What if it were your loved one?Would it still be crazy to try?
I don't understand what the problem is here. If all the facts lead to a discovery of these women, and answers for their families. Why should they have to fight a system set up to serve and protect. Someone needs to get off their pedastal and do something.

For goodness sakes, this has not cost the city a dime, so why not rule in or out the possibility those precious people are under that concrete. AND, this is not the first time a missing person has been found due to a vision. The families deserve to know the truth. Don't let them suffer any longer by sittin' back and lettin' SPD solve the case themselves cause they don't want an outsider taken' credit for it. Not one, but TWO EXPERTS have detected something under that concrete. What's it gonna' hurt? What would you do if it we're your loved one????Do the RIGHT thing and dig that place up!!!
Unfortunately, police have a way of disregarding input. It seems like, if they can't solve it, nobody can...and they are not about to act on it. I pray this officer has a change of heart.
I was here when this happened,and like the rest of Springfield, we'd like to see closure to this, and if this is truely the case, lets bury them properly. Cox or not, lets get this done.
