No Walmart. It ruins the U.S. economy. Also a note to reason #9.. 24 hour light pollution?? The other 12 is natural sunlight. Duh. Sorry I guess we dont need the sun in Tinley Park either. haha.
Tax Revenue for area will be raised no matter who develops lot. No need for another big box retailer, will only take away from existing Target revenue.
I do not want to see my property values decrease therefore I am very much against this development and against Wal Mart. I am also worried about the safety of myself and my neighbors and their children, especially after Lane Bryant. With I-80 being so close it is very easy for criminals to get away.
Please remember that we pay taxes to live in this neighborhood. Unless a big box store will cut them in half they should stay out. No tax incentives for big box stores.
7935 Glenfield Avenue I have way too many reservations about this unnecessary addition to our community.I am in agreement...we certainly don\'t need another huge retailer in our area...especially a 24-hour store that is next to residential housing. I don\'t think it is representative of Tinley Park\'s commitment to smaller retail store that promote the charm and personalization of our community. One question I certainly have is how would this affect the flood plains in the area? Who is ready to accept responsibility for and pay for any damage to existing structures (homes) that happens when new flood lines are created? I have seen this happen to neihborhoods too many times before...leaving it ruins while the community is left hokding the bag. Plus I cannot and will not support another non-union business in our community. We must stop this development.
jennifer yanahan. 7606 rosefield trail i dont support a 24hr walmart when we have a super target and i will feel not safe in the neighborhood cuz all it will do is more crime
We moved here for the peace and quiet. I think the Brookside Shopping Center has more than enough variety in the stores. Besides the Wal Mart could force some of the smaller business out of business. Let\'s keep our community a residential area and not a business area.
