I really enjoyed reading the books a few years ago and am in the process of reading them ago, and still love them. I would love to see them made into a movie.
U have to make this movie the books r soooo awesome and to have the movies wood be even better they wood be a great hit! And for anyone hu hasnt read the books u have to the r addictive, so many girls in my year groaned about reading a book for english but everyone has read the whole series and we r constantly talking about them, now i have got my sister hooked and her friends as well this wood be a great oppotunity for australia as well.
i am only eleven years old and john marsden has inspired me through life!the way lee and ellie are passionate to each other makes me shiver!i now never take any day for granted!i love writing and if john marsden was thinking of making a movie than email me and id love to be in one of the parts!good luck with the petition! keep me posted! love grace!!!
The Tomorrow Series are the BEST books I have ever read. As it is, I have read the whole series at least 8 times. Oh my god, if these books were made into movies, you'd never get me away from the cinema and I'd be first in line for the dvd's! The books make you feel as if you are really there with Ellie and her friends, and a movie would only make it 10 times more realistic...PLEASE make the Tomorrow Series a reality for the hundreds of thousands of fans across the world!!!
The Tomorrow series are some of the best and most realistic books I have ever read. I'm all for making them into movies, I just insist that the actors used are talented enough to play the complex charecters in the series. These movies, if they take place, MUST be done well.

These books really rock!!!!!!!!! The way John writes it, u feel as though u're right next no Ellie and the rest, right in action. Can't wait 4 the movies...pls do them well and don't leave out any parts from the books. Seeing them on the big screen is a dream come through. Please get this movie on the roll i can;t wait to see it! I also think that the books shouldn't be squashed into one or two movies, they should span at least three, it would be shame to have such a great opportunity but spoil it. Good Luck!
I LOVE the book and i also LOVE movies so seeing this book as a movie would be a dream. To have the characters and settings visuallised on screen how they are in the book would be great. Please get it coming A.S.A.P
i was introduced to the tomorrow series in grade seven and now in year ten have completed the series and i would love to see my imagination on the big screen!!!!
I would love to see the books I loved so much brought to film and experience the action in a different light. By actually watching what happens instead of reading I think, would make the story twice as good ;) Please bring it to film. I think it would be a good idea if they made a film series and stick exactly to how it happens in the books.
My daughter introduced me to the "Tomorrow Series" and I can say - John Marsden is very talented. The books were so realistic, that I think they would make an outstanding film for the Australian film industry. It definately needs to be brought to film
I haven't read a good book for a very long time...after reading "Tomorrow When the War Began" back in school, I never realised there was a series. I'm a very big fan of most Australian movies, and I think this would top them all. It would be great to make a movie series exactly like how it all happens in the books, where fans of John Marsden can not only read about this terrifc series but watch it too. Using some well known Australian actors, I think a "Tomorrow Series" film is just what we need.
Bring the books to film!!!
Quite frankly, I find it hard to believe that this has taken as long as it has. The stories in these books are perfect for film. It would be impossible for one movie to do this series justice. The tomorrow story has potential for several movies, perhaps even one for each book. This would span for over a decade and have huge profits. The idea of a group of teenagers defending their country from invaders has been on film before (Red Dawn 1984) but this series has the potential to be so much bigger. I'd be interested to see if the invaders identity is revealed in a movie version, or will it remain secret, perhaps a fictional origin. Good luck Esben Storm, this one will take you to the big time.

This series is amazing and ibelieve now is the perfect timefor them to be made... the media scrutiny would create a huge amount of interest in people who havent had the pleasure of reading the books themselves
The Australian movie industry needs a boost, and the Tomorrow movies would give it that boost and help give it some credibility. Come on guys, the books are awesome and given the chance the movies can be too!
I absolutely adore this series, if they were made into movies and stayed loyal to the books they would be so incredibly popular. Whenever i read the books i can always imagine exactly what it would look like on the big screen and it would be FANTASTIC.
I think that if the movies were to be made it would be a fantastic opportunity for the Australian Movie industry. The books have already proven to be successful overseas and enjoyed by anyone who completed high school english.

the books are very intreaging, so well planned and thought out. when you read them you get captured and never want to put them down. you are my favorite writter and i would recomend you to nayone john, do your best to make it a movie series PLEASE it will be so cool
Please please make this a movie, you could do it as a trilogy like Lord of the Rings or the Matrix. So much action happens, i read the whole series in 3 weeks because i could not put the books down, John Marsden is a great writer and has really nailed it with this series, cant wait for the next books to come!!
Tommorow when the war began was a very good book and if you haven't read it, I suggest you do. Too many teenagers are taking advantage of what books can do and just ignore them. If they have to read a book, some dont and books just really open minds up.
