Recently, XM Radio discontinued the stations The Torch and Music Lab. These were two popular stations that were wrongfully chosen to end. The signers of this petition desire that XM reconsider their decision and bring back two great stations.

I support this petition. The Torch is sorely missed in my household. If there were an equal alternative then this change would be (possibly) understandable but as it stands right now, dropping The Torch was not a smart move. My son was about to purchase XM for his car but now says there is no reason. Please reconsider this move.

Bring back the torch! Seriously, there is a huge following. Even if you got low ratings compared to others you are still driving listeners away. People like variety even if they don't always use it, thats why sat radio has listeners at all!

Seriously XM, with 170 channels there isn't enough room for The Torch? So much for being the radio of the people, you money grubbing morons...

I've missed Music Lab so much that when I moved anhad to change my billing info, I just let my subscription expire. It took me about ten months before renewing, and I'm still not nearly as satisfied as I was before. I need more Zappa!

Music Lab is too great a station to be online-only. I can't store it on my radio if it's online only! Hell, there should be 2 channels - 1 for prog, 1 for jam.

I cancelled my XM subscription because I only listened to MusicLab 51 for my Yes, Camel, Happy the Man, etc. and it is BEYOND ME how XM can cater multiple channels to Country/Bluegrass/Metal lovers, and yet not ONE single channel to PROG lovers! I will renew my subscription when MusicLab returns.

If there can be 7 country stations, there can be a prog rock station.

Bring Back Music Lab -- it's the main reason I bought XM in the first place... We've got multiple POP/Country/WEATHER for the love of god -- we can't have one place on the dial for Progressive Rock???

I picked XM over Sirius for Music Lab. Now the only reason we keep XM is because my wife uses the traffic channel and my dad has a gift subscription. I never use XM anymore. This was one of the best channels around, playing music that had a home nowhere else. I don't need more country and pop channels -- I can turn on terrestrial radio for that. If Sirius ever comes up with a prog channel, I'm gone.

I canceled Sirius because of the repetitive playlists on all music stations. I went to buy XM and discovered MusicLab (Ch#51) is gone. No sale - that was the only reason to pay for radio remaining.
