TRACFONE IS A RIP OFF SCAM---IF THE PHONE DOES NOT WORK, THEY EXPECT YOU TO MAIL IT TO THEM FOR EXCHANGE AT YOUR EXPENSE......BUT THEY DON'T TELL YOU THAT WHEN YOU BUY IT!

I purchased a Tracfone 2 DAYS AGO to see if it was worth it, ITS A RIP OFF, IF THE PHONE DOES NOT WORK YOU HAVE TO MAIL IT TO THEM AT YOUR EXPENSE YOU CANNOT EXCHANGE IT AT THE PLACE YOU BOUGHT IT!!!

E-mail them and tell them they Should tell people in Advance, they have to mail it if it does not work and that airtime you purchase is not refundable and that this is getting spread on the internet and consumers don't have to put up with crappy service like this!!

Oh yea,I bought 30.00 worth of Air time that I cannot be refunded on.....I SMELL SCAM!

I BOUGHT IT AT RENT A CENTER IN MIDWEST CITY , OKLAHOMA AND THEY WOULD NOT EXCHANGE IT AND THEY DID NOT TELL ME THERE WERE NO EXCHANGES IF THE PHONE DID NOT WORK...SO E-MAIL THEM TOO!!

I support this petition!! After numerous phone calls and about 13 customer service (??) contacts and 3 emails, I was promised a return form so that I would not have to pay for Tracfone's mistake of providing a cell phone which does not work in my area. I was even given a return number which would arrived Jan.12, 2008. Typically, there was no return form. Knowing of Tracfones incompetent customer service, I am not surprised, but I am also not without resources to obtain a refund for a cell phone that they knew would not work in my zip code area. I'm am still working as a Tracfone Customer Service agent and the reason why it sucks is basically because of the QA (quality assurance or total quality control) we have...If you think that I want to say stupid things like "may I place you on hold why.." or "you said you want to add minutes on the phone, right" is not my fault....so as you don't like the service you are paying for you better send an email to the Corporate Office and tell them that we should take calls without saying that kind of crop and then we may have a chance to speak like a real person (not like an robot)...it's up to you so if you call to the 1-800 867 7183 customer care center number you better know that some QA moron is listening the call and they are the ones making the rules, including ALL THE SCRIPTS......THAT'S THE HOLE TRUTH!!!!!!! PD: I'm fully bilingual (my dad is american) but let me tell you that the English from the south of America(virginia, alabama, etc) is awful....they have such a strong accent that it's a torture hear them talk.

Bought a tracfone a few months ago worked first time I got minutes no I have been having trouble getting 50 dollars worth of minutes since Dec and now it is almost Feb Every time I call number get a lady that puts me on hold on and off for a long time and she doesnt know what she is doing This is the biggest rip off I have ever seen. Also, cant get money back!%0 dollars down the drain!

Tracfone is CRAP! I just got my 2nd Nokia Tracfone and it doesn't work. The first phone was stuck in roaming, and it only worked while plugged in to the AC adapter! The moment you unplugged it and turned the phone on and tried dialing out, it would say "No network access" as if it were never activated! The phone was purchased at target and they exchanged it. Now, I can't even activate this 2nd phone because "my home zip code isn't compatible w/the cell" my alternate zip code is "unrecognizable" and after giving my 3rd zip code, the automated response system (over the telephone) told me to hold for a customer service rep! The reps are worthless. I spoke to a rep regarding my phone being stuck in roaming, and she said that i wouldn't get hit w/roaming charges because of my phone model type! That's total bullcrap, it even says on the box 1 roaming minute=2 units! I hope tracfone takes great pride in ripping off unknowing customers. Thanks for the wonderful christmas present tracfone.
