I work at Trader Joes in WA state, but I am a Maine native. Maine is a perfect place a TJ's and TJ's would bring its signature fun/ adventure atmosphere, people first approach with great prices/ quality. I definitely support this petition.
Gas is too expensive to make the trip to Peabody more than once a year.There are tens of thousands of Mainers who would give anything to have a TJ\'s here. We all assume that it\'s the greedy and dishonest Good Ole Boys who are keeping TJ\'s out.(Why did Hannaford buy the land in Scarborough that TJ\'s was looking at?!)Wouldn\'t it be great if we were wrong, and if TJ\'s WERE allowed to come to Maine?
With Wild Oats closing we desperately need a TJ's in this area. There is plenty of business to be had for them. I drive to Peabody to shop now and would shop much more often if one were in Maine as would many of my friends. Come Trader Joe's give Whole Foods a run for the money. Monopolies are bad for everyone.
Trader Joe's is one of my favorite stores. I make a trip to your Cambridge, Mass store as often as I can. Please consider opening a store in Portland. We promise you won't be disappointed!
I am a devoted Trader Joe's shopper as are many of my friends. We would love to have one in Maine instead of having to make trips to Peabody, MA. I would spend a lot more money if your store were in Maine!
I love Trader Joe's! I hate the fact that the closest one is more than an hour's drive from my house. I would love to have one in the Greater Portland area. I really don't care for the new Whole Foods store. It is so big and so cold. Trader Joe's is a great place to shop.
I've shopped TJ's in San Diego area for years. Nearly all my food came from TJ's. The best. Now when I visit SD I ship a couple of boxes of non-spoiling faves and freeze. Please come to Porland! I'll drive 2 hours to get there!
I believe there should be a Trader Joes in Portland Maine because it is an excellent store and very convenient for herbal remedies and other such foods. With the addition of one, many people like myself will be able to enjoy all these neccessities greatly!
Definitely bring TJ's to Maine. Portland would be good, but why not Portland and Bangor? All my wino friends and I would clean up those great wine deals...:-)...
Please, please come to Maine! We love Trader Joe's. Every time I can I go down to Mass and load up the car at TJ's. I would buy a lot more though if it wasn't that far...
Yes! But Portland is too saturated, so bring Trade Joe to Topsham! It has my vote! Ok, Topsham, (Brunswick alrady has a health food store), or Lewiston! Preference: Topsham! At the Topsham Mall! Yep, get a store of real substance in there with those other newbies. I vote: Topsham is the place for Trader Joe's! Welcome to Topsham!
Please come to Portland. By adding stores in the newburyport /amesbury area in Mass. (as well as Portland, MN) this request may be more feasible logistically for T.J.'s when considering distribution areas!
