The Trans Am is a car with more flare, and more style than I have seen in any car. It has the balls to be bold in a world where cars are starting to look more and more alike.
You guys need to stop being pansy's! Bring back the real American muscle car, the car that made everyone proud to to be an American. The car that showed real American ingenuity.
Bring back the Trans Am. This is my dream car! When I finally get the money up to buy one, I don't want to buy one that somebody has beat to hell and back. I want to buy a new one! They will sell!

Alright GM. We have been very patient in waiting for a new Firebird and I think it is time we, (the consumer) get what we want! The Camaro is taken care of, now lets begin o turn our attention to a new Bird. Remember this: If you've got the gumption to build it, I have the cash to buy it! I have always wanted to own a Trans Am but being an impecunious 19yr old that is working his way through college, I sadly had to put a hold on my dream of owning such a beautiful and poweerful muscle car legend. Please bring this beautiful bird back from the grave and have it rise from the ashes like the Phoenix it has portrayed for so many years!
I drove a 1979 special edition in high school and still own a 1978 gold edition. I have had a 1969 grand prix, 1984 grand am, 1986 grand am se......beginning to see a trend here. BUILD THE CAR!!!
I think many of present and past owners of this car would like it to return to Pontiac showrooms as soon as possible. The Pontiac Trans Am is an iconic car that deserves to be resurrected for all the drivers that appreciate the finer things in life.
how can you bring a GTO back? we all know it as a bulky monster. the trans am however will launch if it were to be put into production. oh remember the failed attempt GTO gm tried already. BRING BACK THE TRANS AM!!!
I remember I was 6 years old and a flower girl in my neighbors wedding. She owned a 77 firebird and I fell in love. My parents took me on the day I turned 16 thru the Norwood plant where they drove them off the line. We test drove one and I knew this was my dream car. I knew at 16 I would probably kill myself so I made it my goal to own one at 25. I started a family and decided to wait put my dream on hold - I'll never forget learning the 02 was the last year of production. I cried like I lost my best friend. I am 36 now and still have the dream of owning one.I keep looking and test driving but watching them roll off the line at 16 my dream was to have my own - not a used one...one that was all mine. Please make my dream come true BRING BACK THE TA !! And can I ask a favor - don't completely change the look - keep it muscle !!! Will keep prayin' Jen from Ohio
I've owned 2 trans ams and 1 I still own. I have spent over $50000 on modifications for my GTA Trans Am. I own an '04 gto and Im waiting to buy a new Trans Am. Bring it back.
by the time the camaro comes out I will be looking for a new car. It will be between the new challenger, camaro or the mustang. the old school look is so much more in. Look at the concepts people are doing of the firebird. I would buy one ASAP
Bring em back!! the firebird/ta lineup needs to be brought back...not only will they sell 100,000 units a year they will bring back some interest and prestiege in the brand. do it or die....if im not mistaken pontiac is going to die soon if they dont do something different.
GM, please bring back the Firebird/Trans Am. I am a huge fan of the F-Body cars and will definately buy a Trans Am if it is put back into production. I would love to see a new Trans Am based off the late '70s body style. If you build it, we will buy it!
i'm 24 and all I've ever driven is a Pontiac Firebird. I wouldn't trade my 01 for anything on the road now. Please make a new one, it would be all I ever drive!

Yes, PLEASE bring back the Firebird! It would be nice if it came out by 2010! I just bought a 2007 Pontiac G6 GTP coupe, but if the Firebird was still being produced, I would have chosen it instead. I wanted one really badly in 2002, but could not afford one. But now that I can, they discontinued them! Please bring them back! I would even like a retro huge chicken on the hood! =)

I so hope it comes out. There is art work on LS1tech called another transam, looks like a WS6 with a larger hood.. It ROCKS.. GM be smart and bring it back
I am previous Camaro owner and i still own a Firebird Formula. I also own 2 Chevys. A 2006 Silverado and a 2007 Cobalt. I would trade both in for a 2009 or 2010 Trans Am in a heartbeat. Bring back the T/A !!!
if u bring back the camaro you need to bring back the firebird, heck u dont have to call the hipo model a trans am, call it the Firebird 6.0 or Firebird 364(like the firebird 400) or firebird ram air
How about GM stops coming up with all their brilliant ideas of what to sell to the customers and actually sell what the people want. BRING BACK THE BIRD!!!
In reality, the upcoming G8 will make up for the loss of the Firebird, but I would still like a retro looking car for Pontiac.
