I once saw a tree octopus when i was
4 yrs old. ever since i have worked on trying to get their exsistence known. thank you! at least someone cares about them. I also have 2 tree octopi as of right now. they are my best friends. I'm 42 yrs and live in my mothers basement. If you ever have the time read my blog on my space. Its all about videogames.
By all means, the more we can do to protect the diversity of the Olympic National Rainforest the better. If it means shining the spotlight on this amazing, cute (if not cuddly), and fascinating creature might help the situation as a whole - THAT IS WONDERFUL.
I support this petition. Go ocopi!! I love this amazing creature and I hope you make a website on the Rocky Mountain Snow Snake, another little known and endangered animal of the Great White North.
I support this petition. However, i believe its inappropiate that supporters go on and on about it and give a really lengthy and what seems like endless description about how they love a tree octopus. its wasting space. wasting it! its all going to be used up soon. come on guys. ------------------------- ------------------------- ------------------------- ------------------------- ------------------------- ------------------
This marvelous and truly noble beast must be saved from extinction at all costs. The implications this animal may have on evolution and the origin and diversity of life on this planet should not be taken lightly.
People wearing tree octopus 'hats' should be shot. Unfortunately, idiots and morons are nowhere near extinction, so I advocate shooting as many of them as you please.
I support this petition with all my heart. I actually visited the pacific north west, and when i saw my first tree octopus i was truely amazed. I love them and support this petition 4 ever.
Hi, I'm from Iraq.
As you know, I'm raising 3 pets which are a sky octopus and a desert octopus and a mountain whale.
I'm a one of members of Green Piece. I understand this situation seriously. Thesedays, in the earth such a many animal is dying. What we gotta do is before we truly experience this kind of situation, we gotta prepare, I mean, ready! this is time. We don't need to wait for later. Let's not be lazy. Let's save Sea gorila!!
Sadly, this hoax has ruined the life of one of my best and dearest students...Her report on the tree octopus was coming along nicely! Sadly, on the night before the due date, I was helping to edit the paper and found that Sasquatch was a predator...Now she is in the proverbial pickle!
I am truly shocked by the cruelty of such characters to the tree octopus. I mean really now, we need to support all animals, not just the one's we find appealing. And it seems to me that certain people definitely don't find the tree octopi to be very appealing. I strongly disagree with this. It's not only unfair, but very cruel. People always say don't judge a book by it's cover! But what are we doing? We are judging the tree octopi by their hideous frames. This is ridiculous behavior, and I would like to give the people who are in charge of it a piece of my mind. I also agree with Travis. His comment has inspired me to make this one. And you all.. You have also inspired me. I will not rest until the lives of the tree octopi are saved!
Over and out.
Have you people ( if that is what you realy are ) lost whats left of your minds,There is no such creature.Do some research before
contributing to bull**** sites like this one.
The Tree Octopus is a not only a victim of the perpetual cruelty of the human species, but a symbol of the result of a total lack of consciousness on the part of hominoids and how they impact their environment. The crusade to save such creatures is the crusade to save us. On a more specific note focusing on these poor creatures is one small step towards a racial reckoning of the spirit of the land. The Tree Octopus has yet to be co-opted and corrupted by Disney and therefore is "off the radar" for most people. Does this make them less worthy of our attention? Saving such an animal is a step towards saving ourselves, as the saying goes "you are what you pay attention to."
I have been deeply moved by the plight of our endangered tree octopi and, partially inspired by the works of Green Peace in their efforts to save the whales, I am planning on spearheading a campaign to stop the destruction of the tree octopi's habitat and nesting grounds from reckless loggers and the like. Using tree Zodiacs, we will strategically position ourselves between the saws of foresters and the nests of the tree octopus. Acting as a "human shield," we hope to thwart the actions of these enemies of our arborial allies. Currently, we are seeking the proper permits for our Mother Ship from which we hope to conduct research on these endangered animals as well as launch our Tree Zodiacs.
Should our mission prove successful, we hope to use what we learn in the Northwest Woods to protect the threatened Sky Bison of the Montana and the nearly extinct River Penguin of the Upper Mississippi in similar ways.
Forget the last one. It turned out wrong because the signal isn't strong enough to travel through the 739473493700 light years of space separating our superior planet from your inferior minds.

I was watching tree octopusses once and I saw a little baby tree octopus and they are really cute and they swing in the branches with the agility of an eight legged monkey and just dangle from the canopy watching passers by so they can run away really fast when trouble arrives.

Tree octopi have touched my heart in many ways, shapes, and forms. I love the tree octopi. They're like family to me. I could not go a single day without giving my tree octopus hugs. I'm thinking of marrying one like that stupid lady who married a dolphin. She was a crazy hoot. What is wrong with her? I do not understand why she chose a dolphin over a tree octopus. If I had the choice between a dolphin and a tree octopus, I would definitely choose the tree octopus. They are so loving and caring. Being with a tree octopus makes me feel warm inside. Well, that's enough for now. I'll write more later. Hugs and kisses to my tentacled friends.
