Get rid of tumblarity
Published August 13, 2009
Dear Tumblr staff,
Firstly, let us tell you how much we heart Tumblr. It has become a part of our lives, a truly amazing way to express ourselves, our tastes, our feelings. We are fond of all the new features you incorporate to make Tumblr more innovative and easier to use. All, that is, except for one. Tumblarity has become that part of Tumblr we are not really fond of, to put it lightly.
OK, we cannot lie to you. We hate its guts.
We don't really see any reason for its existence, other than making us feel bad about the things we post. And even though we try not to pay attention to it, it's right there, going up and down like the yo-yo effect. After weeks and weeks of using it, most of us still cannot comprehend how it works exactly, and why it can suddenly drop 40% overnight.
Truth be told, as much as we appreciate the need for innovation and your great efforts, the tumblarity feature is taking away the fun that is Tumblr to us.
So please, fix it, or get rid of it, or make it optional.
Thank you.
You rock.
