I think it is reprehensible that Hollywood exploits the very people who make their industry run and their paychecks come in. The writers give us great quality programming and they deserve the money they've earned. I, for one, will be boycotting the reruns and the reality
Please stay strong, especially the wrtiers on How I met your mother, Big Bang, Two and a half men, House, Back to you, 30 Rock, Greys Annotomy, and ER!
I am in full support of the writers. Although I do not want to see my favorite shows go off the air, it is worth it to support the individuals who make the shows as spectacular as they are. The writers of the WGA need their fair share!
We're standing with you guys! You deserve to be compensated for the work you have done. It's as simple as that. I know that once new episodes of my shows (Heroes, The Office, Friday Night Lights, Ugly Betty and Supernatural) have aired, I will not be watching the replacement shows. As much as I'll miss them, I'm willing to wait as long as is necessary for those network execs to come to their senses. Stand strong!
It is ridiculous not to pay the writers for DVDs and residuals, especially with more people viewing content online than ever before. I will not watch any replacement programming aired by the networks during the strike.
Um...without the writers there would be no shows. Pay them for their work and the rights to the use of their work - how difficult is that concept to grasp?
They deserve *something* for the hours they put in, the things they write, everything. Shows aren't shows without the writers, and everyone knows that. Obviously.
