Did you not read book 6? It was all there. Harry's clearly in love with Ginny, otherwise he wouldn't have broken up with her. He broke up with her because he wanted her to be safe and he cared too much about her to let her get hurt. And Ron was STROKING HERMIONE'S HAIR.... was I the only one that caught that? It was obvious from book four that not only were ron and hermione going to get together but harry and hermione never were, harry even says "when hermione was your friend there was a lot less laughter and a lot more spending time in the library."

How the HELL do you plan to ban the book? The incredibly small percentage of H/Hr fans that think there is no point in reading the books if Harry and Hermione are not together is certainly not going to affect book sales. If you've, like, EVER looked at a poll on MuggleNet about who the best girl is for Harry or guy for Hermione, it's Ginny for Harry and Ron for Hermione that won. "The few Ron/Hermione shippers," please, we make up a larger percentage than the Harry/Hermione shippers! Besides the fact that after book six there won't be anyone who actually thinks Harry/Hermione still has a chance anyway.
And come to think of it... it strikes me as a bit odd that the only "true" fans are going to stop reading the books simply because they didn't get their way.

Honestly, this is taking it too far. Yes I know many Harry/Hermione shippers are disappointed with the recent interview with J.K. Rowling but you have to also think about that it's not your book but hers'. She chooses who we belong with.
Now fan fictions are no problem because they are based on what the fans want. I personally don't care who goes out with who but I want to know what happened to Voldemort and Harry.
If for some reason there is a miracle twist of Harry going out with me, then there's no problem for me *sighs*. Being with Ron would mean me trying not to rip out his throat though but hey, love has its different characteristics.
Can we all get along now with this? It's something from the past and no one can change it except her.

When I was waiting for Half Blood Prince I couldn’t wait and I telephoned my friend Jake in England and asked him who died and more important, if H/H were together yet or if it was not until book 7 that they loved. He told me about R/H and H/G and I cried for an hour about how you killed off the best romance of all time, seemingly forever. I couldn’t understand because of how you twisted the story around and ruined it so mostly and entirely.
When I went through the book store party and told all my fellow REAL FANS about the “secrets” in your travesty of a sixth book, they were also so angry and couldn’t possibly comprehense why our beloved JKR (oh, sorry, I mean JRK) would write such words of deception. The non fans, the pathetic R/H shippers and the people who follow JRK along every path she takes them no matter how inaine, kicked me out of the store, the owner was an R/H shipper and didn’t want me telling people the truth about you and your hijacked book, JRK. But now you see from this petition that your TRUE Fans, ie: your EX-Fans, are as innumerous as they are angry.
My reading of the entire HP books is now down in flames, all my experiences of imagination – experiences in fiction unlike you will ever be conscience of - are now destroyed because of your vastly overpublished knife twisting known as HBP.
