JUst reading comments on Pumpkinhead's blog, when I came across one pointing out the character in Baum's books (Jack Pumpkinhead) also wasn't very smart. I do think it's hilarious that H/Hr shippers started all this because they were called delusional by Emerson, and then support their views by calling anybody whose views differ delusional.
