You may want to realize that out of the first 100 signatures, Twenty-four are off topic twelve think that you are right, and fifty-four have argued against you and/or said you were delusional.
First of all, we think that an author of six books knows how to spell "immediately". Why were you whining about the person calling themselves "lupin"...is it because, (gasp), they did not agree with you?
We fervently hope that you are not our age (about 11-19) because at that point, kids are SUPPOSED to accept things in books and not act like a brat ordering everyone around (GIVE ME YOUR LOLLIPOP, YOU'RE BEING A MEANIEHEAD, etc.)

This is really a stupid petition, if you really were a fan of Harry Potter, you wouldn't care if Harry and Hermione or Hermione and Ron got together. This is why I don't get involved with ships because it takes away from the main plot. I just have to comment on something. The H/Hr-shippers (and please remember that most of them are true fans and "get's over it") have a point in the love issue.
Clearly, Harry and Hermione has a true love for each other. But!! They are not _in love_!! And for young people, being _in love_ is what it's all about, and JKR knows that. Okay, first of all, do you REALLY think if #260 was actually Jo, she, as an author that deals with words every day, would spell "immediately" "imediatily"? I mean, come on! Not to mention I cannot imagine any author signing a petition that would make her rewrite her book, not to mention her entire series, because, like she said, there were 'anvil-sized hints' throughout the entire first five books.
Secondly, I BEG you to get a life! If you have nothing better to do but tell one of the best authors ever to go change her books because YOU'RE not happy with them, then I pity you. A lot! Also, she's said countless times that she's writing this series for HER, not for you! The most important thing is that SHE loves what she's writing.
Next, if you haven't noticed, most of this petition is people that completely disagree with you and are using this opportunity to turn your own words against you and/or make fun of you.
And you call yourself a "true fan"? "True fans" are people like Emerson and Melissa, who love Jo and love her series, whether the ships they supported were fulfilled or not.
Lastly, I truly think that Jo Rowling is a very, very wonderful author, and an even better person. If you really hate her books so much, why do you read them?
