None of these directors have read the books (maybe Columbus but he directed like he was still on the "Home Alone" set), before deciding to direct.

It all started with Steve Kloves Casy, he's totally in love with Emma Watson and has written Hermione to either be like her or how he envisions Emma Watson to be. I'm not calling him a sickening paedophile but more like an older man who admires a young girl. It has spread to everyone now and so we can't even get to see Hermione on the big screen, we can only read about our beloved character in the books. Oh well, the books are a million times better anyway. I wish we could get Peter Jackson or anyone who has actually taken the time to read the series to direct or write the screenplay. That would be a good change from the crap we've had to endure.

I do not know what you guys are complaining about. I do not care if there is much Hermione in the movie or not, she is one of the main characters after all. what is the problem with Hermione having many scenes ? I do not think that you should judge about the movie just because of a couple of images you saw from it. watch the movie first and continue complaining about if afterwards.

If you ask me, I really staring to dislike the movies. PoA was cute because of that little R/Hr hand-touching-scene they put in it *smiles*. But the more pictures I see of GoF the more I get the feeling that they will soon have to rename the 5th movie.

I HATE the movies I hated them since the last director raped PoA, and before that they still weren't exactly cannon gold. If the movies do turn out to be H/Hr its just more proof the directors have no $#@*&$# idea what their doing (I respect MOST H/Hr shippers, eg. the sane ones, but even they know R/Hr is cannon.)

I am a Harmony Shipper, but this is ridiculous. "True" HP fans do not ban any HP book based on some silly ship-bashing fest. Yes, I was hurt by it. The fact that JKR so willingly joined in the insulting of some of her fans is not something you get over easily, but this is not the answer. Emerson has taken things a bit out of proportion with a Wall of Shame, but I see his side too. Also, JKR has no reason to apologize, although one wouldn't hurt. I am not pinning this on Emerson or Melissa either, but they could have been a little easier on us.

I say good luck to getting J.K. Rowling to take this petition seriously. Also, I have a reccomendation for you. To get your daily dose of romance and completely pointless plots, read a Harlequin Romance book. I find they're more satisfying that HP when it comes to romance.
