No, I haven't been threatened with legal action on JKR's part, nor have I finally listened to all those R/Hr shippers. What has happened is, I have realized that there is no possibility of this petition becoming anything more than what it is - a forum.
And, let's face it here, I've been - in denial, as it were. It's just that reading the last sentence in the sixth book, and finally realizing, "Oh my god, it's really going to be Ron and Hermione", - well, it kind of hit a nerve.
I suppose it's more fun to imagine Dan Radcliffe kissing Emma Watson, than it is to imagine Rupert kissing Emma.
That's partly why I started up all of these other petitions about replacing the actors. I wanted a Ron who's FUN to kiss. And, let's face it, Rupert Grint is a fairly good actor but can't compare in looks to Dan.

No, I haven't been threatened with legal action on JKR's part, nor have I finally listened to all those R/Hr shippers. What has happened is, I have realized that there is no possibility of this petition becoming anything more than what it is - a forum.
And, let's face it here, I've been - in denial, as it were. It's just that reading the last sentence in the sixth book, and finally realizing, "Oh my god, it's really going to be Ron and Hermione", - well, it kind of hit a nerve.
I suppose it's more fun to imagine Dan Radcliffe kissing Emma Watson, than it is to imagine Rupert kissing Emma.
That's partly why I started up all of these other petitions about replacing the actors. I wanted a Ron who's FUN to kiss. And, let's face it, Rupert Grint is a fairly good actor but can't compare in looks to Dan.
I won't ask anyone to forgive me, nor will I be sorry for what I've done. Harry Potter will still remain a part of my life. And, really - I wouldn't even have started this petition if it wasn't for the HP books. It is a series worth cherishing.
