This is so stupid. If you havn't figured out that Ron and Hermione were to be an item by the end of Goblet of Fire, then you're mental. Oh and Joanne didn't laugh at the term delusional nor did she use it except in the defense, of those readers whom were called delusional in the first place. If you couldn't figure out that from the interview then it's no wonder that you could not see the Ron-Hermione connection from the begining. Perhaps you all should start your reading with something closer to your level of comprhension, such as "Dick and Jane"
I fully support this petition. I believe that by having Ron and Hermonie in a relationship reflects a strong lack of planning because she is leaving Harry out of the loop and making a mess of the series. She is also making a ridiculious point about the second-best getting the girl. One, that rarely happens, and two even if it does happen, why should it happen in Harry Potter? Harry is the one that truly deserves to be happy and the only person that can make him happy and perfectly complete his life is Hermoine Granger.

What are you thinking!?! Seriously, do you think you can stop an author from writing the way he or she wants just because you didn't like the way the book turned out!? I have news for you, you don't actually have to read the books. If you don't like the way they turned out either get over it or stop reading the books all together. Here's a lesson in life for you: things don't always turn out the way you want them to. Learn that now or you're going to end up having a very depressing life. Now, instead of wasting your time on a stupid petition that will utimately go no where, why don't you actually do something constructive? There are people starving to death and dying of horrible diseases out there. Why don't you do something about that? About something that actually matters?
