I support this idea, but have the user create their own ACL with a limit of two ip's or a 0/24 subnet entry. If someone tries to login from an unauthorized ip then it will e-mail the user with an alert message. Perhaps also with a link in the e-mail to click, activating the new IP entry -- but still with a limit of TWO.

I support this petition. But what i suggest i that there would be a trail period in which a group of trusted poeple would monitor other users regardiong abuse problems we had in the past. A tip might be, that if a channel monitored by cservice might deal with abuse regarding maxlogins would help, im sure there are many volunteers that are willing to learn and help in the situation. Many people would like to see maxlogins back on our net :o)

Good idea, I know that Undernet changed max logins from 2 to 1 because they want to stop the abusers.I know that users with maxlogins 2 are just the members staff from cservice committee. I support this.
