Public High School is not a place for your word to go unheard. Speak up! I am a vegitarian and there is barely any food for myself. Usually what I eat at school, if I don't bring my own food are muffins, animal crackers (ironic, isn't it?) and tea. This is a petition for my rights, the animals rights and my fellow student body.

i have only 4 different things to eat for lunch at school, and im sick of it! i just went vegan and now there is only one choice for me! AND THEY DONT EVEN HAVE IT EVERY DAY!!!!!

i can barely ever eat ANYTHING! and half the time it's not even healthy... i'm even doing a school report right now for an editorial in my newspaper class to support this issue... everyone in my class says it's a good idea. :]

Being a vegetarian is a very healthy lifestyle and I think that schools should suport it and encourage kids to make more vegetables

I am a vegan and my school has salad but it has atleast 3 different meats in it and cheese. I usually can't even eat lunch b/c all they serve is meat.

I was so surprised to find this petition and happy because i want to maybe start a little in school buisness thing ( talk to the principal about selling in the caf i'm sure he'll approve0 i want to sell vegetarian/vegan foods since our cafeteria doesn't offer this either and i've heard a lot of complaints( i also have ot figure out a way to make money since my mom won't let me have a part time job because it 'interferes' with school. I just don't know where to start and if anyone could give me pionters that would be awesome! Maybe someday we could expand it to all the schools. Even though it's sad that a student-run food program is better than a government -run program it is the sad truth. After all who would you rather have giving you your tofu, an old hag who knows she has no future and is bitter about it and might possibly spit in your food, or a nice friendly peer that you trust?i'll post updates here on progress if i get anywhere on this
