Quality over Specialty

Dear Vibram,
Let us start by saying we love your product. Obsessed is probably the right word. Most of us own multiple pairs and can’t imagine wearing “normal” shoes ever again. So while it’s exciting that you’re expanding your line, some of us are concerned. We’ve noticed that there is a very high rate of quality control issues. Straps fail, soles come out too thin, and the top separates from the top in some models. As people who are whole-heartedly dedicated to your product, we would encourage you to focus on these issues before expanding much further. With the Classics, Sprints, Flows, and KSOs, you can tackle just about anything. So yes, the Treks may be better for trails and the Bikilas may be better for running, but please consider looking inwards for improvement before trying to match the specialization of the Footwear Conglomerates. After all, we love you precisely because you’re not like them.
