This petition is to let the people at gamespot and gamefaqs, that we are sick of trolling, we are sick of getting punished for going slightly off topic, and that we believe the best solution is for a social board to be created. For too long, people have made friends on such boards, and get in trouble for going off topic when talking to these friends. This usually occurs because most people run out of things to discuss on a particular topic/game. These grounds are familiar to them, and this is were they know they can get along. Eventually someone strays from topic and gets hammered for trolling and aggression ensues. This leads to people being punished or banned. I feel a social board is necessary in order to decrease messageboard trolling, and give the people who've made friends on these boards a safe neutral ground where they can feel free discuss a broad subject of topics rather than being limited to just speaking about a game. It will decrease boredom, which will ultimately decrease the amount of "troublemakers" inhabiting the messageboards by giving them their own place to play.
