Now with the demise of Troika, it's even more imperative that a SDK be released to continue support and give further lease of life to an otherwise great game.
Activison - we as your fans of VTMB are dying to enhance the experience of gamers everywhere. SDK will really let us get creative on making VTMB the hottest game around..
An SDK would be a huge benefit to the mod community, and allow RPG mods on par with HL2 FPS mods to be created.
Please give us a SDK!
Shame Troika are out of business so this will probably never happen now :(
A development kit is essential. It would give people the chance to create new missions for the SP game, giving people more incentive to buy it, offer a chance for new Bloodlines to be played (Giovanni, Kindred of the East, etc.), and might open a road to MultiPlayer, something that was Desperately needed for the launch of the game.
Activision - do yourself a favour and extend sales of a project you have already invested in. There is easily scope for future official add-on packs. Most people who have bought this game already are familiar with VTM and would buy them.
An Multiplayer mode is REALLY important for that kind of game. Vampire the Masquerade without the option to play with friends in a realy game of rôle playing game is not a rôle-playing game anymore.
Bloodlines is the only game of 2004 that I have thoroughly enjoyed all the way to the conclusion. A pity if that was the end of the road for such a great game.
