Vampire the Masquerade-Redemption was the game that got me hooked on PC gaming. I waited five years for Bloodlines. Now I'm saving for a better graphics card, so I can play this fantastic game in all it's tweaked glory. Please make an SDK available so, like the first game, I can play it for five years. -D
As long as there are third party add ons, the game will sell and people will keep playing. And it will bring in more players.I still play Neverwinter Nights because of all the mods that are out for it
Activision, I know you are driven solely by profit, so if the SDK was released for this game it would help shift more units because more punters will want it to join the fun. Oh and a multiplayer patch would be nice.
Hey, Activision. What we're asking for is for you to give us stuff it looks like you're not interested in re-using, so we can extend the life of one of your games. What's the decent commercial reason why you're not doing it?
vampire is a brilliant game and the RPG i have ever completed, i am an FPS gamer and i want this game to have the mod support that they have. SDK NOW!!!!!!!!!!
Creating an SDK for this game would be a great move as it has helped the sales stay strong in many games. This game has alot of replay value in itself but i dont see it staying on shelves for long without a few good mods.
A tookit/SDK release for Vampire: Bloodlines, for one of the best RPG's I've played since Planescape: Torment, would be awesome and keep the legacy of Troika Games (RIP) alive for many years to come.
That would be great it will add new life to the game once its been completed concidering that the story dosent change much depending on your decicions there is a low replay value. What could it hurt.
Games that offer development tools always last longer than others, the original half life is still going strong with its mod community and that game has now been around roughly 7 years!
I would love to see an SDK released for Bloodlines by Activision. Lack of Multiplayer and difficulty of modding will undoubtedly give Bloodlines a fairly short life-span, especially when compared to HL2 using the Source engine (even Valve released HL2 Multiplayer after people griped enough about it not shipping with the original game).
I loved the game. I would go uot & get the dev. kit ASAP!! Just so I cuod keep going....Hell make it an on line server based world & charg subsriptions like "EQ". Then call me & I will be your first customer.......
I am an ancient when it comes to WW Vampire RP I helped on the On the original WODMOD under lorddevator particulary on the embracement diableri implimentation. I would love to to see what fans can do to further this game. its a real shame it too late to help troika. Vampire dose seem to be the fatal kiss to Game Studios.. but imspires rabid fan reaction
