I'm not the best coder, so instead of using the Source SDK to put together an RPG system, Bloodlines already capable system would prevent much unnecessary pain and hardship. Please Troika!
"Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines", respectfully request a Software Development Kit for this game be made available to the public.
Making these tools available to the public will have a positive effect on the sales of this game, and for your company in general.
Please Release a SDK for Vampires The Masquerade Bloodlines. Its the Best RollPlay Game i ever player. And i think the Comunity will thank you for releasing an SDK for this Superb Game
An SDK would be an excellent way for us to show our gratitude by making the most of this most wonderful game, and to demonstrate how much your hard work means to the community world-wide
The fact that this is the only decent WoD game to come out, and what an amazing one it is, the idea of 3rd party additions (with troika closed) seems all the more important now, and any chance of expansion or sequel gone with them, the SDK would seem the only viable option for continued sales of this game, as content is freshly added.
I was really looking forward to mods for this game. after this we're not likely to see any Masquerade games and I want more content, since my pnp group kind of fell apart last year.
Troika is no more, but the need for a SDK still exists. There has always been a core group of V:tM fans who love the World of Darkness and who drooled in anticipation of another Game based on White Wolf's RPG. The SDK would extend the play life of this game just as it did for V:tMR. The online gaming base for Bloodlines may not be as large as some other titles, but it is without doubt a loyal fanbase. It would be a shame to miss this opportunity.
Imagine half life didn't have an SDK... Not to say that Bloodlines would exceed what half life or some games did, but there's immense room for improvement and modifications in Bloodlines.
This is definately an area for growth. I heard Troika went under, so an SDK will probably not be released. However, if one where, I think popularity amoung this game would rise past HL2, as I have played both.
In my opinion, this game has the potential to quite possibly be one of the greatest games ever made. A toolset would further increase its chances of becoming so as it would potentially iron out the things that make the game less-than-satisfying.
This is the best game that I have ever played. Expansions to the game (new missions, Dar Ages, new clans, etc) would keep an entire community of gamers hooked. So would a multiplayer feature. Player created mods would also be a wonderful thing. Everyone I know has bought this game. If you continued to support it, I'm sure the sales would just keep increasing.
This is one of the greatest games of 2004, and it deserves to be prolonged. Troika's demise doesn't mean the mod community shouldn't be allowed to add on to this game!
