Seeings as Video games are one of the biggest forms of entertainment at present, I believe that they (the characters) should start to get some recognition, as they truly deserve it. But lets not forget the creaters though.
Please, put them on! I love videogames, and if LINK (Legend of Zelda) is in the walk of fame, i would go there as fast as possible. Lets sign this petition, please!
Video games need more recognition in hollywood. Link, Mario, Donkey Kong, Kid Icarus, Samus Aran, Master Cheif are some of the best video game characters in existance, give them fame!!!!
Well, video game characters maybe, but they should do the creators of the characters and games, cuz really their the ones changing the world little by little.

Books are worth a look. Films are enjoyable. But only games offer new ways forward. Surely the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce should realise this, and get game heroes on the walk of fame!! We need everyone's support!! P.S. Do the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce know that last year people worldwide spent more on games than they did on films? I rest my case.
Videogames have been apart of my life since the Atari 2600. They have in fact had more of an impact on my life than movies or music. Many of these icons have become worldwide cultural icons. Either the developers or the characters themselves deserve recognition.
Gaming is playing a bigger role in nowadays' society. Why not pay tribute to that fact? If Mickey Mouse can get his paws in the Walk of Fame, why can't Mario or Sonic?
i do not doubt that countless millions have played with the characters of mario and link for hours on end, which is as much or even more entertainment than they have received from the others peoples names recorded across the famous walk!
