It's a very good idea! I'd nominate Mario, Link, Pikachu or any of the original three starting PokeMon, who were Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle! Also throw in Shigeru Myamoto!
If Mickey Mouse can get his own Hollywood Walk of Fame then why cant the likes of Mario too? I mean Mario's literally been a household name for years now. Wasn't it even fact at one time during the early 90's that Mario became bigger than Mickey Mouse? That alone is enough to justify a Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Charters like Mario and Link should get a star. But I think they should at least wait a whike if they put some one like Master Cheif. I mean games like Mario and Zelda have stood the test of time while Halo hasen't. I mean if Master Cheif got on right off the bat why dont they really suck up the walk and put Taz the tazmanian tiger on it.
That would be cool too see the heros of video games but it should inclued the villens like ganendorf or WARIO WA HA HA Ha and of corse the best of the all BOWSER!
1st plumber on the walk? The stars o this walk are honored for allowing us to live out adventures vicariously through them, and I definitely spent more time with Mario than Marilyn Monroe!
I say yes, videogames are just as important as films and music. Game characters like Mario, Link, Master Chief and Solid Snake are known and admired worldwide, sell millions of copies and are loved by children and adults. The time where video games was a "nerd" thing is long past.

Yes! I love vidio games and have been into electronics and other technical computer crap since i was 5 years old and played my first game (mario). I am now 16 and it would be awsome to see a vidio game celebrity get this kind of attention it would make the creaters extreemly happy.

The American Experience would not be complete without video games. Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pirncess Zelda, Link, Luigi, they all deserve a spot in American History, so why not place them in the most permanent of spots: the Hollywood Walk of Fame?
I feel since the 80's games have made not only people happy but they have allowed the economy to flourish. I vote for Link from the Legend of Zelda series to be honored. thank you for your time.
I say that the Mario brothers, Zelda, and Sonic should all be on the walk o fame. They have made gaming what it is today. Also, they have been around forever and are not going anywhere.
