Mario should get it..I grew up on that guy..he has been around longer than any other game character..besides pac man..he should get one too...but never mind that..GIVE MARIO HIS STAR!!!!
I think it would be a great way to recognize the other side of Film and TV entertainment...Video Games. For more than 20 years, we as kids, and now adults, have and still are entertained by this medium, that it's only justified to honor the heroes that gave a face to video games. Pac-Man, Mario, Link, and even Donkey Kong. But I hope this doesn't mean, in turn to honor non-staple icons like "Master Cheif" from the *cough* Microsoft corp, or....Sony's mascot, if they really have one.
Video game characters should be on the walk of fame, becasue it are the early characters that started the video game indusries go bigger than they would of is they didnt put that same character in another game.
It would be great to see characters like Mario to be on the walk of fame but the creators should get starts as well. It'll be cool to see Miyamoto there as well.
Absolutely. Whether it be on the Nintendo side, Sony side, or even *shudder* Microsoft side, video game characters deserve as much respect as movie stars these days. If it weren't for Mario, where would we be today?
The most under apreciated forms of entertainment are animation and Videogames. As we can all see from titles such as the very popular Finding Nemo, and the upcoming Robots, computer animation is the newt step in entertainment. Video games are the ultimate in computer entertainment. The future of hollywood is in computers.
I really dot hink that VG Stars should be on teh Walk of Fame. It's called the Walk of FAME. Mario, Link and Donkey Kong are liek, teh most FAM(E)ous Stars there are! P.S.: Go see The Legend of Zelda Trailer!
Video games are just as popular as everything else in the entertainment industry. Classic video game characters and vdeo game series deserve to be properly represented on the Walk.

But maybe instead of just video game stars, maybe video game series? Because games like WoW, SC, and other games with no real "main" character deserve to be recognized too.
Video gamea are apart of culture now. We shoul recognize it as we do movies and tv shows. They have capture the hearts of millions. Mario, Link, Donkey Kong and many other gaming icons deserve a star on the walk of fame.
yea mario is my homie we used to kick it back in the day and i would smoke some bowls of reefer and i would make him eat those magic mushrooms fool and he would get twacked he grew hella huge they must have some mad protien and fiber in that **** pretty good for poison yo
Ever since my Grandma bought me "The Legend of Zelda: Orarina of Time" I fell in love with Link, the good ol hero in green. And more recent characters too, like The Master Chief. Video games help, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, and sibling connect for a bit of friendly competition. Not everyone listens to the radio or reads books or the newa, but everyone loves videogames. Yopu ask some little 8 year old kid "Who's Lauren Bacall?" and he'd go "Huh?!?!?" But ask them who Mario, Samus , Link or Pikachu he'd know that your not just some weird adult that was never a child rock on
Video games have been around for ahwhile and theres so many movies being released based on them nowadays
It should be noneother than Mario to start it all
From cradel to grave with the likes of Mario and Link, shows us how much these characters are a part of our lives. They need to be made imortal by adding them to the walk of fame.
This is one great idea and I support it one hundred percent. The entertainment industry needs to recognize these additions as stars--not just digitally rendered figures. They keep us entertained just as much as any actor or actress could and deserve their own spot on the walk to honor them.
Mario and Link have had just as much stardom if not more than some of the actors and other great people that are already on the walk. If not characters then at least Shigeru Miyamoto deserves a spot
