Video games & characters have become an essential element in our society today. Some of the biggest influences, who deserve a Star is Mario, Link from Zelda, and of course Pac-Man!

I believe that this games really deserve to be in the walk of fame. They are more famous than many artists and have given us a lot more!!!! Everyone has grown up whit them, specailly Link and Mario, they are the best!!!
Thanks to Mario, Luigi, Link, Fox, and all of the others: We the gamers of the United 50 States and all around the world can add video game heros and heroines and villans on the most famous sidewalk in the world, the Walk of Fame. Plus it is an entertainment category. so let's do this thing! But since Nintendo was first (kinda) to make a video game, Mario should go first, right?
Video games are a viable form of entertainment, and their characters have become as much a part of our lives as any Film or Cartoon star. It's about time they recieve acknowldgement for their achievements.
Videogames deserve it. Videogaming is at the moment the biggest part of the entertainment industry, so to honor it's heroes is only natural. It has to be done more seriously though, and not make it a popularity contest like Walk of Game, which was rediculous. Halo wasn't bad, but certainly not worthy of something like that.
If this thing goes through, you know the first three on the walk will be Mario, Link, and Samus, the three major, huge-ungor characters that come to mind when you hear the words "video game".

The video game industry has been a part of our generation’s upbringing and culture. I feel it is time to honor those gaming Icons not just for the entertainment they have brought us over the years, but for the way they have shaped and influenced our lives. Mario, Luigi, Link and Zelda, and others have been in our homes for 20 years. What is amazing is these giants have not been forgotten. Start humming the theme to any one of these memorable characters games and people will know what it is. The sad fact is most people don’t even know the song for our national anthem.
Gaming is the new entertainment medium of choice for millions of Americans. It's time we honor this shift in entertainment with spots for Mario and Link on the Hollywook Walk of Fame.
I belive Mario Should get a start because he made all of us happy like anyone that already has a star. And he will make many other people happy as well.
Mario is one of the worlds most recognized characters of all times, even more so than Mickey Mouse in some cases. Mario is a timeless classic character that never seems to go out of style, but rather keeps up with the times for every new generation. Mario is way more entertaining than any actor and mario presents a posotive image, whereas Paris Hilton does not *Cough****Chough*.
But anyways Mario should be on the walk of fame, he deserves it for being cool.
I don't care about Eddie Murphy or Arnold Somethingorother.I think they should get a big cement truck and cover the names that are there right now and then put down names of people that ARE cool, like Link and Samus and Mario, and DK! Did you know Donkey was actually a typing mistake? It was supposed to be Monkey, not Donkey but it was a messed up typewriter or something... my point is, I LOVE NINTENDO! YOU ARE AMAZING!
