Its time they start putting video game characters not only Nintendo. I mean Master Chief in my opinion deserves it but I would prefer to see Mario and Zelda.
This needs to be done! Video Games are a growing franchise and their awesome characters need to be recognized! I play video agmes way more than I watch movies, so if you have a Actors Category why not a video game characters category? This is great but lets not go overboard here, only the true kings of gaming! Link, Mario, Samus Aron, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Luigi, Master Cheif, Solid Snake, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, Mr. Game and Watch, Pikachu, Captain Falcon, Ice Climbers, Ness, Yoshi, Kirby, Prince of Persia (which did revolutionize the "Adventure game" genre ever since it's debut in the early 80's), and somebody from Resident Evil since it did create the survival/horror genre... Probably Leon S. Kenedy.
I think video game heroes should have there place on the walk of fame, if actors can be put on there for a character they play then why can't video game characters have their spot, or at least there creators and voices.
This is a great idea. It's a good chance for the people who design games, star in games, come up with the ideas for games, etc. to finally get the credit that they have worked for. Gaming, one of the most popular forms of entertainment, should defenitely be included on the Walk of Fame.
Mario, Samus, Luigi, Bowser, Link, Zelda, Peach, Fox, C.Falcon, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Game&Watch... and loads more characters should be on it, these guys are more famous that any actor or singer!
Come on! Why wasn't this one done sooner? It should have been done after N64. The crowd that likes Video Games is Huge and it is only getting bigger. By the time the kids of now are 40 we will have the ages from 6-75 playing VGs. We are one of the biggest forms of entertainment World Wide too. That makes you think, doesn't it?
I thinks its time for Video Game Characters and Creators to be put ont the Hollywood walk of fame Videos Games is in 3rd in Entertainment Bis. i think mario,zelda,ect. is time for them to go on the hollywood walk of fame and the one person that put video games where they are is MR.SHIGERU MIYAMOTO
Video game developers bring just as much, if not more, entertainment to the public; they and their creations deserve as much recognition as already-honored stars of different natures.

Video games are as much a part of our culture as movies. Mario, Starfox, Kirby, and Link deserve a place right next to the other famous names of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
I think that this is a great idea. Video games are as big as movies today, so it'd be great to honor legendary characters, like Mario & Link, as well as other people important to the gaming industry, like Mr. Miyamoto
With the ever growing popularity of video games and their lead characters, it would both honor those who star in these games but also those whose tremendous skills make these games possible by justly adding their star's names to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Video games have brought a new joy to the world and these characters are what really draws one in. Mario, Link, and Samus are Legends and it is about time they get the credit they deserve!
Great idea! Videogames are indeed the best form of entertainment, even if you're not living in somewhere like Korea, Japan or USA (where they're a lot more popular than here in Brazil).
If anyone is nominated it has to be a true gaming legend, Nintendo desereves the honor because it also has been around longer. And who better to honor Nintendo than Link, Mario, and of coarse Nintendo's president!
