When movies fist came to be, the entertainment industry was born into a new world. Now, that technology has changed so much, the entertainment industy is beginning to evolve. This new form of entertainment has spanned the world over and is bringing happiness to all those (big and small) to a new level of infamy.Video Games are becoming a staple in every one's home - world wide. This should help show the impact that Video Games are having, not only on society (politics and television) but also the movie going community.
Yes, Mario must be the first, and then a whole lot of videogame characters have t follow up. I'm talking about Luigi, Spyro, Link, Samus, Solid Snake, Donkey Kong and then some more!
Mario has been around for a very long time. The first game I ever played was Mario's for the NES, I've practically grown up with him. Mario DESERVES to be on the Walk og Fame along with other characters like Link from Zelda and Donkey Kong who are some of the biggest names in video game history. I'm a huge Nintendo fan and I support anything and everything they do.
This would comemorate the hard work put in by designers and companies who have made there characters reach celebrity status
and along with Mario,Dk,and Zelda should be Shigeru Miyamoto
Why don't video game charcters get on the walk of fame? Someone watches a great movie, and say "wow that was great." and watch it again ever 2 months or so. On a Video game, it takes time to beat it. And then they say "that was a great game." , and they go back to play it again, cause it was fun! So if Video Games get spent more time with, why dont they get recognized?
Pac-Man & Donkey Kong may be runners up on the all-time list, but still number 1 on the all time most famous video game characters list would be Mario. Mario was at one point more famous in America than Mickey Mouse! It's ridiculous, knowing that, that Mario would not be included when non-movie actors like Michael Jackson or characters themselves like Pee-Wee Herman can get stars. They earned & deserved theirs, and so does Mario
Videogames have become a huge part of the American culture and the characters in the games have become as famous as some of our favorite actors. They have earned the spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Videogames are now getting to the point where Visually loook just as good as Movies. And VGs are better then movies because they allow you to choose your own ending, and that in turn allows the gamer to have a better sense of imagination, whereas movies while yes, kick major booty, only offer 1 fixed(and sometimes predictable) ending.
If Famous Movie Actors are paid to do a fixed ending, and get put in the Hallf Of Fame, why shouldn't VG Characters and more specifically the company they came from, who offer multiple endings, be in the Hall Of Fame.
I hope That VG Characters are allowed to be in the Hall of Fame. I can just imagine Link being in The Hall of Fame Now ^_^
