Why shouldn't video game characters get their own stars? The entertainment industry is more than just movies, gaming is a rising market which I would say rivals even taht of Hollywood. GO MARIO!
They keep making terrible movies based on great video games so why not give em some stars! But in this case make them flash and give you the power of invincibility on contact.
As long as it doesn't mirror the Video Game Awards in biased decisions, I fully support the idea. Video Games and their characters have become strong members of pop-culture. You are more likely to recognize Mario, Link, Master Cheif, Dante, and such than you are to recognize many of today's stars. I believe that video games have shaped many things, including the gaming population's heart. Give them their own walk, they deserve it.
I think that the interactive entertainment industry should be recognised as it plays a huge part in the industry with things such as movie tie in games and movies based on games. Give Mario another STAR!!
Mario, Sonic, even Pikachu. Noone on the planet does not recognize them. They entertain gamers just as Bruce Willis entertains movie fanatics. What is the difference? Pixelation. That's not enough for me.

mario est peut etre un acteur de jeu vidéo mais il ne serai pas juste pour ses créateurs qu'il n'est pas d'étoile à son nom. En récompense du travail qu'ils ont effectué afin qu'il devienne le plus célèbre des personnage vidéo il serai trés juste que ce petit geste soit fait!!!
