This makes so much sense. Characters such as Mario, Sonic, and Link have more recognition around the world than most actors and singers. Personally, as a citizen of Hollywood, I would be honored to have Mario on a star in the walk of fame.
I agree with that petition, Mario is as famous as lots of actors and get he's own star is obviously normal. He represents the market of videogames which becomes bigger and bigger. So "Vive Mario!!"

I really think Game characters should be on the walk of fame. One reason is that games characters make you feel their stories more than movie characters and movies are getting really repetitive. Last words I enjoy every Nintendo stars.

Many video games have just as much money if not more invested then some movies. Take Kingdom Hearts or Xenosaga or a Final Fantasy. They deserve to be there as much as movies do.
Video Games are just as popular as tv and movies. There are some Game characters that everyone knows about, like Mario. I think some people like VideoGames more than tv, well, it depends on the game. But theres a game for everyone.
